So thinking of picking up a cash set.

Most likely .25/.25 blinds, spread between 6-16 players.

Was thinking this for a breakdown but not sure if it's enough:

.25 - 150 = $37.50
1 - 250 = $250
5 - 100 = $500
25 - 50 = $1250

Total bank = $2,037.50

I think below would be spread easier between 2 tables and allow a little room for the game to grow. Cut a rack of 5’s and 2 1’s to save money. For a quarter/quarter game I would want lots of quarters on the table.

200 .25
400 1
200 5
60 25
40 100

May be a bit more than I can swing budget wise (which is of course, $0 but what's life without the threat of murder from the wife?)

I’d just swap 50 $1s for 50 $5s, pads your bank by 10 buyins at $25 and you shouldn’t miss those $1s unless you’re at a full 16. And you can always add on later if you find you need more.

If limited to 550 chips, and your blinds are not going to increase, I would do:
200 .25
200 $1
100 $5
50 $25

Bank of $2k and starting stacks of 12/12/2 for 16x $25 buy-in. Next 13 rebuys will be 5x$5 and subsequent 50 rebuys will be a single $25 chip. That's ~80 buy-ins total. There will be change making at every rebuy.

550 chips is tough for 16 players. The good thing is that as this is a stock offering from Gene, you can always order more in the future if you need to increase the bank or want more $1s for less change making. If your game is mostly 1 table and only occasionally 2, then this will work. If it's always 2 tables, you'll really need another couple racks of $1s.

I'd say $25 would be the buy-in.

I like handing out barrles of quarters for ease and because I like big stacks of chips. You’ll use a quarter chip more than just for blinds if betting is true to a .25/.25 game, we play .25/.50 more often though and 1 really is the workhorse there for us, so I get by fine with only 100 quarters and first 5 guys get the barrels of them.

At 16 players I’d want to start each guy with at least 12 quarters. So that’s 192 chips alone.

May work better?

Yes, semi-custom option can be any denomination.
Is it possible to make a nickel denom?

Yes, we could do these in 43mm. They would not be done in time for the 10/31 delivery schedule as we're backed up on running 39's and won't be switching over the equipment to 43's soon. This would need to be done by special order, so please PM if you'd like them done this way.
Before I click order. Can theses be done in 43mm?

Lets say your maxed at 16 players. Your starting stacks will be

$25.00

8 x .25
13 x 1
2 x 5

Definitely doable. Can your guys handle making change without screwing things up/slowing the game down? I'm guessing ones will be the work horse? If so, I would like a few more on the table.

Is 16 a rare occurrence? if its more like 10 players, then I think you'll be just fine.

With 10 players you could do starting stacks of 12 x .25 and 13 x 1, 2 x 5, Still have enough ones left over for 4 rebuys before getting to the fives

So rough math shows at 16 players the following starting stack:

.25 - 8 chips - $2 (128 needed)
1 - 13 chips - $13 (208 needed)
5 - 2 chips - $10 (32 needed)

So I'd have 22 left over quarters, 42 left over ones, and a bunch of left over 5's.

Wait, what??!! PM on the way!

I would expect that 16 would be more than would show for a cash game unless I can steal players from @codeman00 and @Poker Zombie

Thanks! I slacked on ordering my sample set until today, and the extra time is appreciated.

My 2c from handling these is that they would be awesome as 43mm.

Also I found the lighter denoms looked great in person. On the screen I didn't really love the white $1 however in hand the white $1 looked fantastic.

My favorite chips in person were the orange 1k and the white $1.

400 + 20 Non-Denoms ordered. STT Set to the tune of @BGinGA's breakdown a couple pages back. 10 Non-Denoms will be bounties and 10 will be a shuffle stack!

120 T25
120 T100
50 T500
75 T500
35 T5000
20 Non-Denom

Had to take some photos...

Hi gang,

I dont remember if I posted before, but I follow intently:).

I bought an 1100 Tikis cash set a few months ago, but just couldnt resist these yesterday:).

So I ordered a 1000 chip cash set.

Ncv x 100
(as a 10c used very ocassionally)
.25 x 100
$1 x 200
$5 x 400
$25 x 200

My Tikis are similar but with
.25/$1 at 120/280
Plus $100 x 80, $500 x 20.

I play several house cash games, ramging for micro to very deep $1/$2 that plays like a loose $5/$5:).

I think that given same blanks and complimentary graphics and colours, I can even blend the Tikis w these in deep games, for huge stacks of $1s, $5s and $25s.

Hoping to spread these out next Friday:).

Will post pics!)

Tourney set on the way! Maybe should have kept the black $100, but the red is my favorite. There’s inevitably a cash set on the way though.

Very cool! If anyone's ever willing to part with one stock $0.25 please let me know ! My gf loves the look so anything to get her to agree to buy more chips is a big help :D
