I found out recently that CPC inserts their labels perfectly on every chip in regards to the edge spot.

When I’ve put labels on I’ve randomized it.

What does everyone else do or prefer when it comes to relabeling Paulsons?

That's default, but you can choose the specific alignment or request random alignment.

Random. Only time I would do uniform alignment is if it was going into a set where the other chips already had that.

Depends on what other chips in the set I'm trying to match to. If other chips are random I random, if aligned I align.

If relabeling a whole set it depends on how I feel but mostly I align if possible. Doesn't really take any extra time and there is always going to be some off center/alignment at times so it's not a big deal. And sometimes I throw one or two randoms in just for variety to see if anyone catches them.

I like random for clays with inserts, but labeling solids with coin or medal alignment shows that you care. ;)

Aligned. Always aligned.
