Assume you mean the different colors on the acorn's cap, right? You may be right about that. There's plenty of room for color on the acorn itself, though.

I like where you are going, but I mainly want the acorn to be more prominent across every denom. So just a big nut should do the trick.

This is gonna be the only realistic solution. I’ll mimic the JACK label on side A (including a fake drill hole lol), then the squirrel on side B. It’s just too busy with everything on the same side.
Think I might try the poker suits in the same color as the nut, though.

I haven't scrapped the NUTS theme yet … working on a slight variation of it … but I was messing around again on another theme. I like the general idea of the Dia de los Muertos poker chips, but they are a little too out-there for my taste. My last name is Rivera, with my father's family coming from Mexico a few generations ago. I thought about using the Casino de Mexico name, but (1) that name is already taken and (2) I don't consider myself Mexican. So I went with casa Rivera. The mariachi theme is also a personal touch, as my wife and I purchased artwork on our honeymoon in Cancun of four individual mariachi men sculptures. First four images would be on custom ceramic chips. The final image would be a custom plaque. Here we go:

was originally going a different direction with my Royal label design, but I got my custom dealer buttons, and I just had to have CC chips to match them.

Think I like the black background the best, but the blue kind of gets lost. The white background looks fine, but it's so bright, which is why I went with a gray middle option. But I'm not crazy about it.

I was thinking the same thing. The black labels all look great except for the blurple. Go with the white labels. And the Bounty chip is awesome.
The black labels are so good. Maybe just suck it up and accept that the blurple is what it is...or lighten it just a bit.
