Back when this started, production time was expected to be 1-2 weeks.

Production time:
- I'm guessing it will take about a week or two to get them done. So, 8-10 business days, give or take.

These went in to production on or before July 17, 2025.

We’re officially in production now!

So production should've been complete by last week.

I know you have a ton going on, @Okku, even more than you had when you started this endeavor. But have the cut cards been produced and sent to you yet? Just trying to get an idea of when these will be received by us. I bought them as a gift to my son and I've offered a few people cut cards. Just want to know how to set their expectations.

I'd settle for some concrete evidence that the order has been submitted showing dates and such. I hate to be the blunt skeptic, but we were told in months prior they were out for delivery, soooo....
It's not a matter of money. Personally, It's only a few bucks. Collectively however, it's a sizable order worth a substantial amount.

I should be receiving the order and will have everything out by the next two weeks (fingers crossed). Definitely by the end of the month.

I’m ordering more mailers later this week so I’ve got plenty and won’t have to worry about it when the order arrives. Will also be sourcing some plastic inserts so it’s nicely packaged when I’m doing it.

Has there ever been a CPC group buy? That would be the only thing group buy I could think of that was this long?

Im not trying to be snarky or mean with gifs, Im very sympathetic to Okkus situation currently. But in looking back I’ve noticed that at no point in this buy have we been given solid dates, it’s been very soft language: hope, should, about, probably, etc, always pushing things out in 2 week increments.

Even at this late stage we’ve never been clearly updated that the cards have actually been produced, never mind shipped. And I’ve dealt with manufacturers, they can be terrible to deal with(so again sympathetic), they often are slow to update or provide BS production dates that they never intend to keep, but we’ve never even had dates passed on to us.

So it would be nice to know at this point the answers to these questions:

Has production been completed?
If so, have they shipped? If not, when is the last communicated date that production would be completed?
If they have shipped what was the shipped date and what is the est delivery date to you on the tracking?

I really appreciate the work put into this, but please provide some clarity with dates.

We've been lied to ( https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/custom-cut-card-group-buy-jan-2025.127970/post-2725087 ) and direct questions have been met with vague responses. Time to write off the loss and move on.

If the cards ever show up, great. I expect we will soon hear they were shipped but lost in transit.

You haven't been lied to, scammed or anything like that. As someone who's got a pretty large following and most people know who I am on here, I believe I'd be the last person to scam anyone on here. Most know of my circumstance as to what's been going on in my life recently so I'm not going to go into that.

Just know the order was placed, they are arriving and I will get them out to you as soon as I can.

I get the frustration from some people here; this GB has taken far longer than we expected.

For some context, in the same time period that this GB has been set up and running, Oscar was instrumental in assisting several PCFers behind the scenes with some pretty significant chip transactions totalling probably darn near six figures, if not more. If he was going to scam people for money, THAT was the time to do it.

Clear communication would be great, but sometimes shit happens. Frankly, there's not a snowball's chance in hell that I would have ever taken on a GB this large, but I guess kudos to Oscar (and hopefully lessons learned) for doing so. I'm not going to get my underwear in a knot over $200 worth of plastic cards in the meantime.

I'll be honest that it hasn't been the top of my priority as it probably should have been. Life has thrown some pretty nasty curveballs and like @cpac54 said, I did deal with quite a few members in the last few months for chip transactions for close to six figures.

I'll get this situated and finalized so that I can finally close it. Still waiting for arrival so once that is here I'll start getting them sorted, packaged and shipped out to you. Once I have a label you will receive it via email or PM and I'll get them off to the post office.

Thank you for the follow-up Okku, as I said in my earlier post I do understand your current situation and how tough this has to be.

At the same time, even in this update you haven’t provided any hard dates for anything, and before that you said you would now have more time to dedicate to getting this done so it should speed up (I don’t see how that could be, but it was what you said).

It sounds like you are confirming the production completed and shipped. Can you let us know when they shipped and when tracking says is the estimated delivery date? Thank you!

I may not personally post here all that much but guys - lets give Oscar some grace here. This is a community built on trust, and Oscar has completed GOD knows how many perfect transactions in the past.

Back off, let nature take its course, and have some faith in someone who's earned it over time. YES, some aspects might have been a bit sketchy, but this is someone who's doing his best with a BEAST of a group buy, and circumstances (and by his own admission, communication) have been less than good.

Your cut cards will show up. Let it happen.

Too many one-off (i.e. custom) designs were allowed IMO. I'm pretty sure I'm the only person who ordered my cut card designs. And I'm sure there are loads of people who did the same thing. And based on my experience being involved in other cut card group buys, these designs seem to be very touchy about making sure everything is laid out just right before they go to print. The more designs there are, the longer it takes. Definitely need to offer only so many different designs going forward.

I'm not gonna complain at all about @Okku. It is a monster group buy.

That said, when no details and timelines are provided or confirmed, it's only natural to ask questions and keep the train rolling as much as possible. No one (at least not that I can tell) thinks this is a scam. People just want to know what to expect.

Oscar spent a lot of time fixing design margin issues out of kindness. I would have not touched and let those folks pay for PP to fix, no mercy. And he's had an early baby. We are where we are. They will come. Give it a rest.
