I think there is a bug. If I search at the top-level of my inbox for conversations received by someone and those conversations are in a folder, the search results are empty. I have to go into the right folder and rerun the search there to find the messages.

Are you using this search? If so, that is the default search that everyone has and will only filter per folder since folders are an addon.

To search in all folders, use this conversation search with at least a keyword and member name.
