Not sure if controversial or not...but sunglasses should be banned while playing poker. Removes a lot of personality when watching players on TV and it feels like an easy 'shield' for players giving them a manufactured confidence boost.

edit: maybe this belongs in the "things that are bullsh*t" thread, but if it's a controversial thought then it can stay lol

This is as controversial as I can get: I host a 25¢/50¢ cash game and only have two chips colours, 25¢ and $1. For $50 buy-in, my guys get two barrels of 25¢ and two of $1. Everyone seems to like the number of chips and if someone gets hot, yeah, they end up with 100+ chips but don't complain

I would change to a .05/.10 game and for $52 buy in you get 6 barrels in play per person…total @SeanGecko style Haven’t tried this yet but my first attempt will be soon
