which would you rather for some cheap customs?

Some of the slugged claysmiths... triangle and stick mold or some older nexgen 8000 series?

Looking for a small tournament set without breaking the bank and I think I could get away with either of these price wise...

Also - if anyone has done custom labels on these -- post up pics!

Would love to see some custom labels on these *cheaper* chips if you have them.

Thanks in advance ! Mace

Thanks for the reply-- for my cash set I use the poker knights -- so wanted to change it up.

I'll check out those monaco's as well. Thanks for the lead -

Have you looked at the Majestics/Milanos?

I've always thought nexgen was good value. You should also consider Monaco's for (I think) about the same price

Yeah for under .20/chip, I would definitely go with an already labeled chip. The Monaco line that @Psypher1000 mentions is a great chip for the price. And any of the 3-stripe claysmith line chips are great for the money as well. I really like the Desert Heat line (I can give you some samples of these if interested).

Do the Monacos have spinners? I really love the color scheme and design of the Bluffs, but there are just way too many spinners and that tilts me. I just counted a random barrel. 7 / 20 are spinners. Thats waaaaaaay too many.

I'll check tonight. I picked up a 500 set tourney set of these on LetGo for $15 last month. I haven't used them but I can check when I get home.

$15? Wow. Wanna double your money? I'll give you $30 - mace

Wow what a score.

The monacos seem to come in two runs. The early ones are harder and have a much more slippery surface. The newer style are a little softer and have a very grippy feel. For cheap chips they look great however. Highly recommend!

Are they ABS plastics right?

Hmm. How wold you rate those pyramids against Majestics?

Much, much better in terms of feel and sound. Closer to a 'real' chip feel/sound than Majestics or CPS. Very similar to the old PGI CC chips.

Those are very nice. Where did you find those for so cheap? The cheapest I've seen is around .56 per chip. Afterall they're not slugged which usually puts them over .40 per at least.
I have a link above in my post, but some denoms($25) are already sold out I guess.

The Pyramid Casino chips were one of the very first china clay chip lines available. Both those and the Casino da Vinci chips were produced by Eastony Industries on the spirit mold for Davinci Imports. Unlike many china clay chip lines that came later, Da Vinci priced both lines (especially the CdV) well above 'typical' china clay prices of 40c/chip or less. They cost about a nickel each to manufacture.
