I don’t like “America’s favorite playground” nor do I like either of the methods of spelling out the chip value in words but, for sure, the inlay looks way better with something written filling that space. A is just way too empty.

So as I understand correctly , this is how the chips will look like , apart from the inlay that’s still in debate ?

@Tommy if those that initially voted without the latest style changes don’t come back to potentially change their vote you may get a false read on the new styles...
I agree that the poll may not accurately capture preferences given the choices and addition of a 4th choice later on.

I wonder if a 2-stage poll might be best. 1st stage would be: text vs. no text option. If no text wins, it would be choice A. If text wins, there is a 2nd stage, with choices B, C, and D only. I think that would help with the vote-split problem ("Ross Perot" phenomenon someone mentioned earlier).

Or a simpler way could be to treat this poll as the 1st stage. If A takes over 50% of the vote, the no text option wins. If not, a second poll with all the text options (B, C, and D) could be conducted to give all the text choices a fair chance.

Just a thought.

Not crazy about the $5. Any chance it could be iterated on? The blue and red don't work together in my mind. There are a few too many blue hues in the surrounding chips.
Just an opinion.
The set looks great!

I like A . I thought the bedroom was America's Favorite Playground

I voted for AFP (black text) simply because it’s the best looking design. Doesn’t matter to me what the text says, but it really helps with the use of space on the decal.

I like both c and d, but c looks cleaner to me.

Edit: wow, I wrote that before voting. I'm really surprised so many people like option b

The real surprise is that so many people like A. I didn’t see that coming. We shall see how it goes!

It's close to a toss up for me between B and D. I think I like B the best. Although I agree the slogan is kinda tacky, but visually I think the B labels are nicest looking. D has a similar balanced look, but I think having the denoms written in text is more useless than a tacky slogan, so that's why it's number 2 for me.

A feels too plain. Almost empty.
C feels a bit unbalanced, bottom heavy.

I would like to vote B, agree it's most balanced, and doesn't leave weird open space on the label (and upon further reflection, don't think it competes TOO much with inner ring). But not a fan of the saying, even given the Rounders reference. It does sound cheezy, and ewwwwwww.

Just a few more hours until the poll closes.

Here's your chance to change your vote now that it's clear C or D have no chance of winning. AFP is in a small lead, and if you are not liking the cheeziness factor of B (and voted for C or D), this might be your last chance to vote against that one (with a vote for A).

Personally, I wasn't sure about A at first, but the simplicity of the design has grown on me. That coupled with not liking the cheeziness/eww factor of B (and C and D having no chance) has led to me voting for A.

There will, hopefully, be a second poll.

Is there any way we can get rid of the word "America" in option B? The PCF community is bigger than "America".
“America” technically includes Canada ;), Mexico, the United States, Brazil, Equador, Peru, Guatemala, Argentina,
Uranus, Panama, Chile, Honduras, and many other countries. It clearly excludes Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia...and there are Pceffers in those geographies. But I assume those places have their own gambling playgrounds. Asia is Macau. Not sure what places in Europe and Australia qualify. They should be grungy towns with casinos and close enough to major metropolitan areas that you can drive there when you get the degen tingles.

There will, hopefully, be a second poll.
I was hoping for that too at first, but haven't seen any indication of a 2nd poll. I think it may be best to treat this as if it will be the only poll for cash labels.

The split is too even, not remotely near a majority and there have been too many comments. @Tommy has done this many times. There will be more refinement, or I’m no Brandybuck.

Honestly, I think someone from Uranus is just as likely as someone from Uruguay to say they are from "America"....
Just because they don’t say it doesn’t make it not true. Lol

This is a thing in South America. They are Americans.
