You are, move on. Nothing to see here.

;)

Intercontinentals

Wrong.

 :whistling:

Really really hoping this is the non cic set and that it doesn't have denoms printed on the chip so I can relabel it. Love the blue, yellow and red.

These do not take a label well. Also, I believe they were soaked in poison.

:dead:

I assume @WedgeRock is being sarcastic about the labels?

@BGinGA what do you think of these, you know what I've messed with other than Paulson's would I like bud Jones? Thinking of just a small. Cash set depending on price

I know this isn't the place to ask this, but I've handled ABC day of the dead chips and loved them and Matsui world series of poker chips and strongly disliked the feel and sound of them. Where do bud Jones fall into plastic/ceramic category.

Plastics and ceramics are two different categories, IMO.

Personally, I'm not a fan of ceramics.

Not a huge fan of plastics, either, but I am drawn to Bud Jones S2s. Plastic makes them durable and the best option if you have players who don't appreciate chips and handle them accordingly. Bud Jones are injection molded, like any other plastic chip, but Bud Jones' plastic is not too rubbery, yet not too slick. And then they are finished to be perfect, no injection nipple, perfectly flat surfaces. And the S2s, as you mentioned, can be relabeled because they don't have the denomination in the chip. They stack like bricks too. They only drawback is that they only come in 39mm. They can be weighted (at about 10.5 g) or unweighted (at about 8 g).

FWIW, I handled some V6s and the suction was too strong so as to make them annoying. I'm sure that will wear down over time, but in the limited use in a home game, I don't know if they'll get that kind of table time.

Thanks for the info guys. If they are Cheap enough I'll grab em just to check out. So far thc is my clear favorite (along with most) and ceramics are a close second but I haven't messed with much else. Have some Sunflys on the way to check out, might as well at bud Jones also.

They are plastic, and therefore feel and sound like plastic chips. Certainly not as slick as Matsui chips (few chips are), but much closer to every other plastic chip in existence than any ceramic or derivative.

They sure do look nice!

HELLO FELLOW CHIPPERS!
The Chip Exchange is ready to move some inventory for a Black Friday Sale. Real authentic casino chips that will be starting as low as $0.15 cents each. There will be multiple casinos included in this sale and a couple casinos that have NEVER been offered before by The Chip Exchange.

Friday November 23rd
Time TBD

Stay tuned as more details will be posted in the coming days!
What time will this sale go live? I need to sync up with the time difference.

There are no surprises with this group. You can't post rolling edges as a teaser and expect that no one will know.

Oh I know:cool:
It’s more like a game we all play. That’s why they tease. Really a great deal for what I paid and I have a feeling these could be even cheaper in the Black Friday sale.
Nice travel or beginner set.
