What I don't understand is why don't they just move the damn hats back a tad? Wouldn't that solve the problem? Makes no sense why they continue to make a flawed mold, unless it makes them more money due to casinos having to reorder more frequently?

Received 100 of the derbies today and I gotta say. Thc ages really well, I wouldn't mind having a full play set of well aged thc chips. I can shuffle an entire barrel with ease (10 on each side) buttery smooth.

Question: the recessed part where the hot stamp is is incredibly shallow, how do people get a label on these bad boys without spinners? I know it can't be Laminated, but even regular I feel like wouldn't work

I suspect they cost more to produce (due to RHC production being more automated), but afaik, they don't charge extra for THC chips over RHC. No question that THC weather and wear better than RHC chips, which tend to chip because of flaws in the mold design.

So do you think the when the Paulson rep sells to the casino their price for RHC and THC is the same? If so then what do you think is the cause for so many casinos going the RHC route in recent years?

Do you think it is just the sales reps steering the casinos toward RHC because the sales reps know they will make more money over time... ie. planned obsolescence.

I have also heard the argument that RHC provides more real estate for advertising on the chip face.
