*** ALL ITEMS SOLD ***

It's time to sell these coveted tourney chips so they go to a chipper's home where they'll see play. These are among the most sought-after tourney chips/colors and hard to find in quantity.

Rules:
If a single buyer purchases both sets, this sale concludes immediately at a reduced price of $3,630 and I will include "kickstarter" extras (OWPS case, beer stein, card spinners, cards).

Buyers wishing to buy a single set will post in this thread designating set of choice until Sunday 3/6 at 6:00pm EST. At that time there will be random hold'em hands dealt and posted to determine winning buyers.

Payment:
via paypal Friends/Family or buyer assumes any additional fees. Price includes CONUS shipping and insurance via USPS. International buyers welcome but I will need to obtain a quote.

Liability:
I will obtain insurance and take all steps to collect on insurance should the chips not make it to the buyer for whatever reason. If/when insurance pays out, the buyer will be reimbursed for the amount paid by the shipper.

If you wanted to run a two table tourney and give out 12/12 for the starting stacks then you would need 240 green and 240 black. If you were going to do 8/8 then you would only need 160 green and 160 black. IMHO the way you split the sets is not useful either way, either too short or too many of each chip, reducing the value.

Thanks for your opinion. If you'd like to suggest another breakdown that works for you and another buyer, I'm all ears. I did the best I could but everyone knows the T1000 are extremely hard to obtain. The current breakdowns work fine for 25 players at 8/8 and 17 players at 12/12 then you'd need to use big chips for the last 3 players. Or buy both sets is always an option.

If you took 30 from one set and gave it to the other set then you would have 185/185 and 245/245 for the other, giving some spares for each set, making them more useful overall. I hate to see them broken up. Hopefully someone buys them all.

Breakdown comment:

The sets as distributed allow for T10K starting stacks for 17 players (starting at T25) if using 12-12-9-4. The 18th player would get 8-8-14-2. If full tables, players 19 and 20 would get 2 x T5k plaques and make change. The plaques obv allow for T20K+ starting stacks.

I assumed buyers would not wish to have less than 2 racks each of T25 and T100 but extras could be moved so denoms in those sets were 225 and 205 if buyers agree (price adjusted accordingly). That would make one set more effectively 16 player and the other 18 player at those breakdowns. However, that's a small change and can be decided between buyers, I'll be happy to adjust.

Fantastic set, always wanted it and haven't seen one for sale since at least 5 years. Meanwhile money has been spent elsewhere :(

Very nice tourney chips, and one of the nicest plaque designs to ever come out of OWPS imo. A massive and epic set if combined, and priced very reasonably. Good luck with the sale(s)!

Man, how long has it been since we've seen one of these casino hotstamp sets released? Great, great set. Really love those 1ks.

I've had inquiries about splitting or selling off portions, which I won't do since that would cripple the sets for others and what use would the leftovers be?

Wow...the chips are nice; the plaques are stellar! Special congrats to whoever picks up the Nautilus package!

EDIT: And I just realized there are plaques in both, so congrats to anyone who picks up a set of these!

Thanks, Jack. I always had a hard time picking a fav chip in these.

And how often do you see a T1 chip for your stud tourney antes? :p They were just so geeky, couldn't resist.

They're unusual because now everyone plays nothing but NLHE and PLO, but the T1s are necessary for any set that might start a mixed game tourney with opening bets of 5/10 or 10/20. You'll need the T1s for antes in the stud rounds in the early levels.

I don't think Ive ever seen them available in quantity with any other sets. Definitely adds a level of versatility to the Argosy's

Well at least now I know what I can do with these puppies. Stud tournament it is! :)

Awesome set, great breakdown - sorry to see you let these go Chris.

If the casino history isn't enough, this is the set with which Bergs battled two Canadians to the death to the now-infamous "USA! USA!" chants. (BTW, guess who busted 4th in that tourney...)

I hope someone is able to come in and buy the whole thing, and keep this set together. Solids not really my thing, or I'd be all over these. GLWS! (y)

doing some mega number crunching this morning. really really want. monthly payment plan and pick up at DCS '16? ;):coffee:

I have fond memories of this set after binking a DCS main event over Team Canada. #USA #USA

Good luck with the sale...really, really hope one person scoops these up. They're going to value extremely well over time and running a large tourney with these is fawesome.

The above breakdown crapping by @moose makes more sense now. It's like being unwilling to buy a beautiful house for a great deal because you remember getting diddled by a guy in the basement when you were a kid.

I've been watching with interest as I have a set myself I was considering selling. But I can't escape how cool it would be to combine all three sets into a mega set. :whistling:
