I'm prolly gonna bink this. Sorry, not sorry. Suckers.

I will be golfing with @bergs on June 17 prior to a Foxwoods visit. I will pledge $25 if you play more holes than my total score for 18. I am a 19 hcp, but the beers will be strong and flowing freely. An additional $75 if you play more holes than Bergs total score for 18.

I shot 91

I thought Bergs was going to challenge you after putting up a 56 on the front, but once the beer kicked in, he rebounded and shot a 47 on the back.

Good luck! let me know when payment is due.

I'm one of the few golfers that gets better with booze.

I'm in for a hundo.

I'll still match $2 x the difference between each of your scores and total holes played. :)

Got another item for the drawing over the weekend. Signatures are transfers, not "live" according to the accompanying document. Just want to be clear that I'm not trying to pull the wool over anyone's eyes or misrepresent anything :)

I will donate. Remind me Monday if I haven't sent anything. These past few weeks have been very busy around here. I haven't had a chance to read the thread yet

One last bump. $5,730 in the bank already with pledges coming from a bunch of dudes after the event. Super awesome. Thursday is the big day and it can't get here fast enough!! I'm starting to get really jacked for this.

@Josh , @bergs , @krafticus , if you want to donate directly to my fundraising site the link is below. PayPal is fine too (links_slayer yahoo). No rush.

okay - i lied about one last bump, i guess there's one more.

to qualify for the drawing for the hat and football (two separate winners, btw) you need to either pledge in this thread or make a one-time donation by 11:59pm central tomorrow night. this will allow my wife and the golf course staff enough time to get everything in order. thanks again to everyone for your support. you guys are ridiculously awesome.

I teed off at 5:45am yesterday and had 72 holes in the books by 11:15am. We took about an hour or so for lunch and then got back in the saddle. After 20 holes the skies opened up, complete with thunder and lightning. Thankfully we were near a rain shelter - we happened to be about as far away from the clubhouse as possible (obv) when the storms rolled in. We hunkered down for about an hour and when we emerged we saw the course got more rain than it could handle. Bummer. We headed back to the clubhouse and packed up the car to make the 0.5 mile drive back to my parents' place, 16 holes shy of my goal. Cold beer and hot pizza were little consolation.. At 6:00pm I called the course and asked if it dried out enough for me to come back and play. To my surprise they said it had!!! So off we went. 26 more holes in the books!!!!!

Here are the final numbers. I'll double check everyone's contributions over the next few days and post what I come up with and you all can confirm. By my prelim math, pledges (including my additional contributions) came up to just over $900, which should push us past the $7,000 mark for this year alone (well over $15,000 total over the last three events).

Congrats! We'll cal my donation $55. Nice job with the 1-putts!

Thank you!!!

Some of those 1-putts were long and some were short - hahaha. I chipped in for birdie (from about 30 feet, downhill, left-to-right breaker) on my 118th hole which was a tremendous way to finish. I had about 40 minutes of daylight left but decided to hang it up. :)

Congrats, on another successful fund raiser, and more importantly, another year being cancer-free! Thanks Josh, for all you do to raise Awareness for Head & Neck Cancer!

118 holes and no eagles? ;)
