1. 1. The highest bid at the closing time listed above will win. If there is a bid within 5 minutes of the closing time (original or extended closing time), 5 minutes shall be added to the time of the last bid, until there are no bids within the final 5 minutes. Because seconds are not displayed on post timestamps, these examples will be used as a reference.
   2. No Reserve. The Starting Bid of this auction will be treated as the Reserve Price.
   3. Bids must be placed in whole US dollars, using numbers in minimum increments as stated above. (bids using images or spelled out numbers are not valid)
   4. All bids are to be placed openly in this thread. No bids via Private Message/Convo. Sellers are not permitted to bid on their own auctions.
   5. The seller reserves the right to edit the listing to clarify statements or correct any errors.
   6. Once a valid bid is made, the auction can not be canceled. Bid edits and/or retractions are not permitted. Violations of this rule will result in discipline at the discretion of PCF Admins and/or Moderators.
   7. PCF (its Owner, Admins, and Moderators) are not responsible for any actions or outcomes that take place in this auction.

As usual, waited until the last minute to raise funds for the Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation (SBTF) race for a cure which is this weekend. Vera is 8 years post surgery and still kicking ass
I am offering an original sample set of THE Casino at the Ritz Carlton in San Juan. These were originally bought from the sale on Chip Talk and have been in my possession since. The sample is 5 chips, 3 oversized ($5000, $1000, and $500) and 2 regular 39mm $100 and $25. All can stand on edge. As a bonus, I am including a $1 chip that I picked up at some point in time. The $1 is not able to stand on its edge on my table.
I will pay shipping in the US, international will need to help me ship to you and pay shipping. I can include insurance for cost, your risk once they are shipped.

Donations can be made to our team Lucky Dog and winner will need to pay to the SBTF charity directly within 24 hours of auction since they stop collecting on Friday for the teams. Well to truly “complete” the sample set you have to do one of 2 things. You can either perform a ritual to the poker chip gods to bring the rare $20 and millineum $5 to market or you can have a stroke of extremely good luck and get a good deal like @DirtyTIVA. I missed that one by about 10 minutes. I still think of it sometimes lol

Truth. I got lucky twice. That sample and the Spinetti’s lot for most of the missing rare ones. I’ve offered $250 for the $20 with no luck.

I think sample set collecting has gotten a lot harder compared to when I started 2 years ago. PCA almost impossible today. Jack Detroit, complete HSI, Jack Cinci, HS Cleveland used to exchange hands all the time. Today, crickets.

Yeah no kidding. It gets harder everyday. Makes me cringe some of the stuff I passed on in 2020. Full PCA set I passed on, PNY set I passed, passed on JD twice before I snagged it for a good deal. I wish I got the other 2 because like you said they’re not trading hands often. It’s more about building the relationship to source those off fourm finds and private deals where you’ll get decent prices and find rarer stuff. I’ve had people PM me from having a wanted ad up and been able to get some good finds.

There’s also a ton more people looking for sample sets and chips now. Plus most of the sample set collectors had to be really patient to get what they have and if you’re like me I ain’t selling most of it since I’ll never get it again.

Yeah sometimes I had to buy chips one by one or as a barrel to get samples. By far, Empress and PCA are the toughest. I’m not done with both, need blue Empress blue edge spot $2.50, PCA pri $100 and sec $500.

I’m super into samples as y’all see in my profile which I spent $700 on Wynn samples from $1-$500. Huge thanks to @doublebooyah85 for grabbing the higher denoms.

If anyone see a Vegas sharp house/baccarat $25 and $100, I’ll be a great buyer. Don’t cash them

As far as the other chips, they were not included in the original sale, only $25 and up. I also missed out on opportunities to snag a $5 or $20, and so this auction ends my attempts to make a full set and why I am tossing in the $1.

I think so as never seen for sale.

And I gave up on $20 after @DirtyTIVA offering 250 and had no luck.

Don’t care for the other types are impossible to find or millennium, just house chips $1-$5k. How about the snapper? I grabbed a few snappers from @casinochipper22 probably more than year ago and never seen for sale since then.
