What are some affordable options for a quality poker table? Just playing on ordinary tables at the moment and it really takes a lot away from the immersion and feel of the game.

Offer up, Craigslist, Facebook market. Got this table for 200 on OfferUp

Chanman basic? Not sure what your budget is. If you're handy you can try to build your own, or refurbish a used one.

If you have some tools building your own isn't too bad. (Source: not good with tools but built mine and pretty happy with it)

Barrington table at Walmart or Amazon is about $160 and an instant improvement over a dinning room table. I just built my own and spent somewhere between $3-400 using the best materials and a full day’s work with two people.
