Naw, chips are heavy but cases can take it. I'd be more worried about the birdcage, they're structurally weak and not designed for extended hauling.I've considered this a potential drawback of pursuing heavier chips - If I end up ordering 750-1k of them, it'd make for a heavy birdcage. And would probably just break any aluminum case.
1000 15g chips is 33 pounds (or, you know, 15 kilos if you're metric or whatever). That's heavy enough to be awkward to carry one-handed, but far from an impossible task. I'd probably split it up into two cases just for convenience when moving them about.
