Hello all!
New to the site and wanted some advise. What should I be paying for the Ace's Casino and Sports Bar Chips. I love the look of the set but know nothing about them or maybe someone can recommend a 12 step program because I think I have a chipping problem!

Casino used $1s for about $.75-$1 per chip. Mint $1s are very rare and are going to command a premium. $2s from $1-1.25 per and $3s from $1.25-$1.50. Casino used $5s for about $1 a chip. Mint $5s are crazy rare and will be a premium. $25s from $1.50-$1.75 and $100s probably around $3-$4 per chip.

Even though the excellent / mint $1s and $5s are tough to come by, I love them compared to the casino used chips I had before, and I recommend paying up if you get the chance to get them. The casino used just didn't seem to go well with the other chips and they drove me crazy. Here's a little pron for you.

Thank you, thank you. IMHO, this is one of the best overlooked sets out there. A number of people do not like the oversized labels, but the beautiful colors and awesome edge spots more than make up for that.

Im telling you, the $2’s are absolutely gorgeous. I love the color & edge spots.

+1 million this ^^^^. At the price you can get the 2s and 3s, not much better value out there for how beautiful they are. Here's a thought. If you cannot get mint 5s, just double up on the 2s and 3s (2+3=5, and equals more chips which is always a good thing.).

Honestly, the 2s & 3s are so sweet. It feels like the 5s snd even 1s are out of place. Ive contemplated getting 1s. But decided against it, and use solids for those.

I actually love the $1s, but agree with you on the $2s and $3s. Those chips are just gorgeous. I think the entire set is "spot" on.

There's a couple racks of $1s (well used) on eBay right now, too.

Whats the safest way to buy chips on this site in terms of paypal?

When I first started, I paid the extra PayPal fee associated with a sale (as opposed to friends and family transfer) if the seller did not have enough feedback to show good faith and the purchase was substantial. For the most part, there are a number of people on here that you can purchase from with 100% confidence. Check their rating and feedback, or if you still have questions, PM somebody that has been around awhile (including me) and ask them about the seller. Most of us are straight shooters.

Yep, I love the $3s, and the $2s only a little less. Somewhere around 1500 of each.

The $5s are nice too, the color just suffers from comparison with the $3s and $2s.

That said, the $25s are the real stars. One of the best $25s ever to me...
