So I was reorganizing my individual chip collection and was trying to figure out where I wanted to put my 43mm Paulson's. That's when I noticed something about the Top Hat and Cane mold on the 43mm's. The TH&C mold depths alternate shallow to deeper.....I personally never known about this so I thought I'd share with all of you. Thanks for checking out my discovery and any other thoughts or incite to the subject would be great too.

Very odd, and clearly intentional.

I never noticed the alternating depths of the hats/canes on the IHC mold before..... and now that I have, I can't help NOT noticing it. Stands out like a sore thumb once you know it's there. I now just casually pick up a chip and ~bang!~ out jumps the four deep-cut hats. It's so damn noticeable I can't believe it never caught my eye before.

It's on both sides of every chip I just checked (around three barrels total of various 43mm chips, including brand new ones and some produced 20 years ago).
