I've decided I will need 90 second blind levels to get all the chips in my imaginary set into my imaginary tournament.

But seriously, I've seen your set pron. How do you possibly play all those chips?

For a single table tournament five denoms is enough to cover pretty much every type of tourney you’d ever want to play, and really you can mostly get by with even just four. MTT’s may benefit from additional denoms depending on the amount of tables.

My set has 7 demons, (5, 25, 100, 500, 1k, 5k & 25k), and I wanted players to get their hands on all of them and have managed to do that with a few deep stack tournies with a structure outlined in this thread. Has worked really well.

You should have more chips than the bare minimum required IMO. It allows for loss, damage, expansion, etc. I mean there’s no doubt there are crazy huge sets here but still
