The damage is unreal. Freight trucks tipped over on the side of the interstate. Trees uprooted all over. Praying for Jim's warehouse where the wind is particularly bad.

Looks pretty much the same as what hit our area. Was pretty crazy. Never seen anything like it.

Yeah, crazy winds here today....it got my trampoline.

I haven't seen it classified as a derecho but it's crazy. Also had like a 60 degree temperature drop from yesterday.

That's what I was thinking when I saw @natumes' photos. I saw a video of the derecho ripping out trees in Iowa, scary stuff.

Yeah it must be. That's what's causing the severe wind on the east benches, cold air rapidly dropping down the mountain. There was snow capping the mountains this morning here as well.
