There is case pretty much exactly the same available on AmazonNo, have to get them from Australia or the Chinese supplier.
FYI, the price on the Jack’s website is in Australian dollars so it’s a little cheaper once converted to USD.

Other than being longer, thinner, yet somehow bulkier, more awkward to travel with, and holding 1/2 as many chips, they are practically twins! Seriously, apples to oranges, they have a similar 1k chip case like that that I looked at and I would not buy one. There is case pretty much exactly the same available on Amazon View attachment 1663883

Has anyone had any experience with these 1000-chip cases? How good/reliable are they? I don't think I'd run with them, as long as the chips aren't in their boxes. My experience has shown that the 500-chip case is quite functional and not too heavy. But these? Are they even worth the money?

Or are they too fragile? I understand that not everyone likes them, but I'd love to hear from those who have or have had them.
They're fine as long as you don't trust the handle or the hinges or the latches.Has anyone had any experience with these 1000-chip cases? How good/reliable are they? The latches have held up fine on a couple of these that I've used, but the handles have failed under the stress of carrying the weight of fully packed cases, so the canvas carry bag is a good idea on two levels.Posted this In Wrong thread before….
Holds. 1100 chips
Versa Case. $69.99 plus shipping so around $99
Pros:
holds a lot of chips
Thin profile, easy to store
Pretty rugged
Nice to see all the chips at once.
Cons:
Latches seem flimsy and easy to pop open
Somewhat heavy with 1100 chips
Can’t open and put on small side table like the pelican style smaller 6-800 chips cases.
Doesn’t have shoulder strap.
Needs minor modification to get all the racks in there ( remove factory foam/ inserts etc.)
If I keep it I’ll probably have a canvas carry bag made for the case to go on. That will elevate the worry of latches popping open. And I could add shoulder straps to that.
All said and done. 6.9/10 Recommend with reservations.

Hi MatB,
Hi MatB,
Those chips and their cases look amazing! I’m sorry for my offense. Hate is such a strong word and I forget just how passionate everyone here is about their chips and this community in general.
I suppose my dislike of birdcages stems more from my own clumsiness than anything else. I tripped down my buddy’s flagstone steps while carrying my chips. The birdcage shattered open, chips flew everywhere, it was quite a spectacle. I swore off birdcages ever since. Now when I trip over my own feet, my chips are all self contained in a zippered bag.
Again, my apologies for my offense! Those cases do truly look fantastic!
I think acrylic birdcage are great for displaying or moving from a closet to table. Once the chips need to leave the house, a more robust carrier is needed, imo.Hi MatB,

This. Shelves full of Apache or Versa cases have a garage feel. Birdcages as display / case are a vibe.I think acrylic birdcage are great for displaying or moving from a closet to table. Once the chips need to leave the house, a more robust carrier is needed, imo.
I was wrong. Sorry. Just in racks I think. Visible racks nonetheless….Paging @Irish for pics….
Yep my display cases are just chip racks, and only single rows of them, true display case style.I was wrong. Sorry. Just in racks I think. Visible racks nonetheless….
What I didn’t realize until I got one of these was how small and compact it is compared to a regular bird cageThe Versa 1000 birdcage with justin racks is great.
