Would love to have a nice chip case to go with whatever nice chips I end up buying I just don’t want something flimsy or cheap.

Do the chips still fit really really tight in those cases?

Yeah that honestly was the deciding factor I wanted to able to hold cards and dealer/big/small blind buttons as wellBeing that I have the box style case of this brand, I can appreciate yours as it has additional storage which the box does not.

No, have to get them from Australia or the Chinese supplier.is there anyone in the US that sells these?
how tall are these tubes?Depending on the purpose of your 1000pc set I will recommend these racks and tubes. I might be a little bias here though (I make and sell these). The aluminum tubes are great for protection and come in 34 chip and 50 chip size. The racks come in several sizes and configurations from 8-12 tubes round to rectangle. The plastic tubes can be nice to show the chips and are cheaper (1$ each) than the aluminum counterpart. The plastic tube I sell are thicker and can hold up to 44mm chips. The aluminum only hold up to 40mm chips. Tubes are also great for counting out buy ins and rebuys advance to keep games going at a good pace.
