Wanted £sterling denomination chips (2 Viewers)

Hi all,

Just throwing this out there to see if anyone has some £sterling cash poker chips they'd part with? Ideally I'm after 10p, 20p or 25p, £1, £5 and £10, but I'll consider anything.

Won't be picky on design etc.. as I doubt there'll be much if any choice, I'll make a decision with what is offered.

Welcome pal! Gotta say I haven't seen much with £ denoms in the 6 months I've been on this site other than customs. I decided not to worry about it and go for some Paulsons $ anyway. You could get some custom made labels? What sort of set breakdown are you looking for? And what's your budget?

Well the only set I can think of is @Phantoms blades v2 cpc set which he sold last year I believe.

You could go full custom I suppose.

I don’t think there’s any realistic sets apart from customs.

There’s a few good custom CPC sets made with £ demons in addition to the above and krony’s set.

Posts 164 & 235 are £ denominated.

Post 118 uses $ regardless of the member being in the uk (as does Toby, check out his black cat set here).

Post 307 is a non denom set, again customs for a uk member.

There's also these chips from the Dragonara Palace in Malta:

They aren't exactly plentiful in every denomination, but they can be found from time to time. It might be fun to collect a set over time. (I have some extra £5 chips if you go that route.)

Those would definitely work! Are they sold anywhere or just from people's collections?

Just from people's collections, at this point (afaik, anyway.) Their condition varies as well, from nearly new to somewhat used.

The .25c from the Dragonara set are really hard to find, they are a tough get. The 10c and 5's are fairly easy enough to find in quantity though.

Or go with China Clays/something of that nature but with custom labels.

Just going back through these and I used to be a regular at Steve's game with the chips in post #235, small world! He still has the chips

Boring and overpriced but he does have pink 5p in abundance so could make microset.

Saw them, 60p a chip which seems ok? You're right, pretty boring though
