A chipping Christmas (3 Viewers)

So, with the holidays approaching, I am curious if members here have spouses or significant others that contribute to our terrible chipping sickness? Do your loved ones accept you for the donkey you are? Do they give in and buy poker/chip related gifts? Is your disease uncontrollable do you buy poker/chip related gifts to woo your loved ones to the dark side? Is it so bad you buy your own gifts, and give them to members of your family to regift to you when the day arrives?

@Ben8257 and I agreed no Christmas gifts this year (protecting chip funds hehe)
But I failed to control temptation and purchased a rack of mystery fracs for him! I've also been on the hunt for unique singles I can use for stocking stuffers! The scrub donkey in me is weak lol I'm also wondering if I buy some sweet singles for my family members if it will make them see the light, and help them understand what it is Ben and I struggle with on a day to day basis.

Anywho, I'd love to hear from others that their Christmas might include wonderful chipping surprises

I got a big raise recently and on the same day my wife was having a really hard day.
She said "I'm sorry, I don't mean to bring you down, you should be celebrating your big raise" and I said
"You mean, *our* big new raise, my money is your money now after all!" (we've been married for about a year)
She says back "Yeah right, I know you're just going to blow it all on more poker chips"

The colors were actually why I asked, the purple and orangey yellow look just like the UW colors.

My arm it touching this mystery gift on the table... so far I know.. there are (118) in there, they are hot stamps and they are quarters... they came from Hawaii... but that's it!!! Christmas is a month away!! That is torture for a frac collector!! What's in the box babe... what's in the damn box!!!! Not very fair since she knows most of the chips she will be receiving!

Doesn't mean she isn't an amazing person brother!!! When we play other family member significant others come over and just watch TV and hang out... it's sad, I would love for everyone to be included... but some people flat out don't like poker! I'm guessing it's the same people that don't like Santa or the Easter Bunny as well!

My wife and I each bought some card cappers for each other as stocking stuffers last year. This year will probably be the same.

The serious chipping is such a windy road that sometimes it's easier to "contribute" to the right gift.
