Do you use one deck or two when playing in a self deal home game?

I've always used 2. Person that dealt the previous hand (now the cutoff) shuffles one deck while dealer deals with the other deck. Keeps game moving at a brisk pace.

2 decks for tournaments with the shuffle behind method. 1 deck for cash games.

2 decks of course. I typically deal the entire game until we get down to 6-7 handed. I send the shuffle around the table and don't shuffle myself, so it gets somewhat divorced from the button.

We use one deck but two decks can be efficient. I'd personally go with one deck to avoid any confusion.

We do it for both. Just curious, why only 1 in cash?
Tournaments we want to get as many hands in during a level as possible due to time restrictions. Cash games there are no time restrictions and people play as long as they want so we're not in a hurry.

Two decks. Speeds things up for sure.

Unlike most here, we shuffle ahead. Tried to get them to try shuffle behind one time but there was a lot push back so no go. You just can't teach an old dog new tricks.

ALWAYS have a dealer > 2 Decks > 1 Deck :D
