Interesting note, this makes two consecutive tournaments I have entered that @krafticus has knocked me out. I feel like there is a lesson to be learned there.

I totally agree. You are talking to someone who had crying duke kid saved as my PC background for years. And I can jeer JJ with the best of them.

I like these positions because I win either way. Happy if they lose, happy if they win. Unless they don’t cover.

I said I was going to adjust the lines to make sure there were no half points. @Highli99 suggested that the favorite wins pushes, and I like that better, but if someone gets screwed over that change, I'd feel bad. So off to random.org.

I entered both teams into the random list generator, with the intention of the team randomly selected higher getting the extra half point.

And Virgina wins the flip, so the line is moved 1/2 point in Virgina's favor.

Saturday quarterfinals:
Maryland (charity) +1½ v Virginia (@Nuhockey)
Duke (@Highli99) v Notre Dame +1½ (@MoeTremper 's brother)

Sunday quarterfinals
Loyla +3½ (@Forty4) v Penn State (@kirchhausen)
Penn (@krafticus) v Yale +1½ (@WedgeRock)

Not sure if I want Loyola to win outright and continue this underdog run or just cover so I get the #1 overall?

Also while watching my wife commented that if she ever suffered from insomnia to put lacrosse on. Additionally she commented that betting on lax might signal a gambling issue.

Maryland-Virgina turned out to be a close game, but once it got to OT, Maryland +1½ already won. Charity adavances, and captures Virginia in the Finals and gets one step closer to some prize money!

Another nail biter of a game, that was over for our purposes as soon as it went to OT. Notre Dame +1½ is a winner and @MoeTremper's brother captures Duke en route to Philadelphia.
