But to be fair, this has more to do with the personalities of the "haves" than a feeling of being left out by the "have nots."

I don't have much to say about Chicken, but Bergs did right by me in the one interaction we had. YMMV.

It's up to the owners of the custom sets to show their own pics. As far as the "group" sets, I have no doubt that pics will come out, but you'll need a little patience please. There is a good reason that they aren't being shown yet, and I promise its not to slow-roll anyone or piss anyone off.

Not necessarily ridiculous... if it’s true that a contact with a legitimate Vegas casino vendor was used to procure these chips, then it’s very possible that he might face some real world repercussions if Paulson finds out that he knowingly submitted an order for phony “VIP” clients.

Protecting him - as much as they can - is likely in the best interest of the GB members.

Again....this can only have 2 causes

- no respect for the source -> info & pictures are leaked in the wild

- respect for the source -> no info goes beyond particants of the buy

But now it seems a mix of both....with the result that the source is not rewarded for taking a risk and it still feels like trolling.
First 'Look what we got'...and then 'but we can not talk or post more to protect our source for the consequences'

I'm I the only one that find this ridiculous ?

I have all the pics but it’s just not my place. If one of them wanted me to release them I would, but they aren’t my chips.

There's no source to protect, everything that was said earlier about how the buy came to be was accurate. We've been asked by someone to temporarily hold off posting pics, and i just can't go into the reason why. But i promise you we want to show them off as badly as you want to see them, because we're proud of them. If you'll just be a little patient (I'm guessing a few days to a week maybe) I'm sure they'll come out.

Where is the post that explains how "they came to be"? I didn't see that.

There are a few different ways to interpret the bold text above. The Chips were made knowingly for Casino VIPs. Are they actually VIPs, yes in this Casino, I believe they are. Would I ever think this was the case based on looks, probably not.

This is garbage. If the GB members gave a rats ass about the vendor's well being, they wouldn't have begun the endeavor to begin with.

I get some people are in awe of Paulson chips and the thrill of deceiving them to get chips made...but I don't understand all the inherit risks people are willing to take to obtain them. Coming so soon off the heels of the Star chips that deeply and forever divided this community, seems incredibly selfish to me.

I also don't get it since we have a custom clay chip manufacturer that bends over bakwards for us.

I’m going to overstep my bounds and call it like I see it. This is not meant to be a troll post and if I have details wrong, chippy or jack or Tree or Harley or Toby or whoever can correct me.

The problem I have is that chicken blew up the first buy and made threats that could have seriously harmed a family. Then he gets involved with this buy and there are rumors there is a GB set that was intended to be sold at profit to hungry chippers.

That’s it. That’s where the drama ends for me. You don’t threaten a man on the grounds that “it’s wrong” and then go do the same thing yourself for a pile of money.

Bergs chips are awesome
Harley’s chips are awesome
Chicken’s chips are a freak show
All my opinion of course.

2/3 ain’t bad. I’m happy for all of you, seriously. It’s a dream come true. But don’t mislead chippers into thinking you did them a favor and made them chips. And if you think that was the intention of the first buy, well I get that. There were a few rotten apples that spoiled the bunch. No one is innocent, but I feel obligated to protect people here.

But when and if they go for sale, it’s an open market and who gives a rats ass. Sorry to blow the big top off your fun. They really are great chips.

Exactly info like that (and all previous shit that happend) illustrates the disrespect of some of the 'Kings of the forums' have for the real community
