Too late to submit my last set of customs to HOF? (4 Viewers)

I wondered why Bergs sold his incredible Horseshoe limit set that he worked so hard to build. Now it makes sense. I too would love to see his Truman House Paulson set.
 
Understand not wanting to show others chips. Can someone in the know reveal how many sets made it through?

Regardless of what may have been done or said in the past, or what bad blood may exist, I think the majority of people here have a great deal of respect for inlay/chip designs privately commissioned by others.

Even if images are floating around by texts and/or PM, I’ve found that this community takes copyrighted designs seriously, along with the security of others home games.

Put simply, it’s just not our place to share.
 
How did folks outside of the buy obtain information/pictures about it? I know @bivey specifically mentioned knowing details and was going to post them within a week. Asking sincerely, expecting nothing, but worth asking how leaks happened.

This isn’t a call to post any of the pictures.

For others asking for pics, do the math. You have the chips from OP, and a number of people who aren’t allowed on the forum as design owners.

I guess the people who were ready to order for the second part of this buy, with designs and everything finalized would be very likely to know details about the four sets that did end up being created.

Would certainly be great to see the results at some point, though I can appreciate the circumstances.

If there were four sets made, how many people in total ended up getting in on those sets? (If one is willing or able to divulge that).

Just to be clear so there's no confusion, I do not own any of these chips, nor was I involved in any aspect of this purchase.
 
Any info on how big each set was? An earlier post made it sound like these were smaller, more personal, buys.

Curious if (and excited by the prospect) we will see additional chips trickle into the community for sale.

one set was slightly larger with a more generic theme, but still more of a custom set than a casino sized order. I dont think there will be much secondary market activity

Guess creating lots of troubles, flipping chips & selling with inside information works better to up your status then being a standup member

From what I have heard there is not much likely hood of this. The sets were not insanely huge and are pretty personal, most likely they will hang on to them. It also sounds like the people who got them are not members here so the chance of them selling them here is slim as well.

That said, there were no rules or restrictions on selling, so who knows.

Let's keep in mind that the buy we're talking about here was conducted by a small set of close friends who have known each other for a very long time, long before PCF even existed. This wasn't a PCF/forum thing, especially considering the main players involved are no longer participating members of PCF. Let's not turn this into something divisive like last time.
 
I became super active and involved on this forum because of the boat chips - I just fell in love with them, specifically the AS cash set. They cost me a fair amount of cheddar, but I'm so so happy I have them - and get great joy with playing with them, and I have nothing but admiration for the ingenuity that brought them into existence.

I look forward to seeing many more cleverly obtained custom paulsons, I know there's tons of smart people here and I have zero doubt that there will be lots more where the boat chips and the pooping parrot came from lol. For me though, I just can't see me loving any chips more than the AS $1 and $5 chips (and the $20 as well). But I would love to be proven wrong!
 
Hi Dan, this is not reflecting on being part of this chip haul....more like the STARS buy and again now seeing that almost half the world knows most details of the new sets...

I'm not looking for pitty...just stating facts

I only know things because I'm a nosy motherfucker.

As I stated earlier, I had absolutely zero part in this one and no opportunity to buy any of the chips.

Not likely. 3 of the four orders were straight customs. There was one group buy but I don’t think there is likely to be much, if any, outward flow from it.
