Too late to submit my last set of customs to HOF? (4 Viewers)

If Texas had a gaming commision you might be on to something.
Interchange Texas with any state with a gaming license.

Other thought is to really convince the Gernaco brand to open up a few more spots...on a different mold. Offer to fund a non-casino specific mold for our use only. Kickstart for the mold. Bam.

On the otherhand, CPC has a wide range of molds and maybe our efforts are better served long term by supporting a clay chip manufacturer that loves us.

One day some version of these will be made: (assuming I get permission from the artist...http://www.flektro.com

This is what I was thinking as well. There's 3-4 cardrooms currently operating in Austin. Convince management to allow PCF to host (for rental fee of course) an annual charity event and attempt to purchase chips through PGI. Order gobs of chips, and see what happens.

This is what I was thinking also. Host a special event every 6 months or year and tell GPI we want commemorative/themed chips for the event. Let's do it.

I like this suggestion the best. Let’s support CPC as they are the company by and for collectors.

This thread is getting comical o_O

However I agree that we should support CPC and the great chips that they produce (I have been getting a ton of their holiday chips as a way to see colors and spot patterns as well as molds)

In the interest of addressing the misinformation itt, here's the real story behind the Harlequin Heist...

Some of you probably already know what H|Q's day job is. Well, that's a cover.

He runs a security consultancy firm, for bluechip clients.

Back in 2003, H|Q approached Paulson offering services to test their operations. "You won't know when... Or how... But it will happen." "Sounds great," said Paulson.

Fast forward 15 years, H|Q's crack team of mystery shoppers was ready to infiltrate the factory facility in Mexico.

His team took these pictures with hidden cameras

@Toby - Speaking of Chicken... did he get a set this time around? We need Pron.

I'm not sure I want to answer this question... There might be some folk who wouldn't like it if I answered in the affirmative! :D But if he did, it's doubtful he'd drop 1,000s $$$$$ on a boat satire inlay.

And I answered on the negative, I might be lying. So can I not answer?! :D

I’ll be unpopular with my best chipping friends for this but here goes: if the responsible parties don’t divulge the whole story, I will. Please include details starting when the boat buys ended....

ANY PMS BY CURIOUS PARTIES WILL BE IGNORED

I’m sick of the bullshit around here

One week.

Is it sunday yet ?

I'm sure there will be quite a few people who won't like the fact that both Chicken and Bergs got custom Paulson sets out of this, specifically given the interactions that occurred during and after the Star purchase. There may be others who are quite happy that they got their opportunity. Doesn't really matter what people think at this point, what's done is done, and it's unlikely many people are going to shift their opinions going forward.

So many strong points here.

I’m happy more people got custom Paulsons. Score one for chippers.

I’m just not happy about the behavior in the process of both buys. I think people know if they behaved like assholes. I’m not naming names. Like Bentax says, people’s opinions are unlikely to change.

So there will be no story come Sunday.

“I saw that”

And yet there’s a third group...

Those who thought Chicken, Butler, and Bergs all acted like asshats after the Star Buy, their actions to try and get Tommy in legal trouble we’re reprehensible, and yet don’t care - or are actually thrilled - about the fact that they all got custom Paulsons.

Some can evaluate the incidents (Star Buy / Big Top Buy) separately, and objectively.

I certainly didn't mean to imply there were only two groups/positions one could take on this. This isn't a black and white issue for many, and actions can and should be evaluated separately and objectively. And I am in agreement with you that I think it's great that more customs were produced. I don't know exactly how many people were able to buy the GB set from this buy (a set in addition to the customs that HQ, Bergs, and Chicken got), but I honestly think it's great that there are more great looking chips out there.

The travesty is that there were some really awesome custom sets in the works that did not get made. @Mr Tree showed his that was on deck. Most people missed out
There was a killer lineup loaded for round two. I didn’t want to say anything about others as that is other people’s stories to share if they want to and I know some of them really are honestly stung at getting so close, but the round two lineup was fantastic.
