Too late to submit my last set of customs to HOF? (9 Viewers)

I’m telling you Paulson doesn’t care about you and your money. It’s not personal it’s just the truth.

Got it. We need to change that.
Time to start closing casinos and not letting new ones open.
No more new casinos.

This is not fact. This is the truth as you see it. GPI doesn't care about me personally, but they care about money and orders.

I'm not looking to debate. Buying from GPI can be done, it's been tested and proven.

Perhaps to be more specific. They care more about protocol and guidelines than they do our money.

I suspect that this is closer to the truth. They don't foam at the mouth over a large order, nor do they scoff at a smaller order. It's probably a sort of indifference. An order is an order, among all the others.

Brilliant. Have a guy that knows more than you hand you information and tell him he doesn’t know what he is talking about. Positively brilliant.

Why wouldn't they be happy with a big order? Isn't that the whole purpose of their business?

I’ll reiterate what I said before. Each order that has happened before has made a future order less (FAR less) likely to happen than more. GPI is a massive business that caters to the casino industry. The small drip in the ocean that is the home custom market for chips is so negligible to them as to be non existent.

What happens to the thc mold when all casinos move to plastic and RHC. Would they sell us what they consider irrelevant chips or still not care?

Perhaps to be more specific. They care more about protocol and guidelines than they do our money.
Also our money is so inconsequential to them the idea of doing a large order to make it enticing is just silly.

Paulson considers this product something that should be available to casinos only. They do this as a security issue. No matter how you feel about it that is how they feel about it. GPI is a massive casino outfitting operation that has contracts worth tens and maybe hundreds of millions. We are incapable of enticing them to change their minds.

If you dealt with large orders all day, what does another one mean to you. In my line of work, we go through 100's of HP computers every day. Some days more, some days less, but the orders we place are in the thousands. Yes, we get some special treatment since we buy so many, but at the end of the day, we're just one of the many companies that place large orders from them. It's all in a days work for them.

If people want to fire off emails to GPI knock yourselves out. I’m not going to keep posting on it but understand I am not conjecturing in the least with anything I say.

Harley laid out the basics. They had an in through a card room whose rep was allowing us to buy chips. One run got through, I was in the second which was locked and loaded when GPI put the absolute haltto it. The rep had agreed to do it but in due diligence GPI corporate realized what was going down and put the unconditional halt to it.

As I said before I am not guessing, GPI has no intention of ever working with us and aren’t interested in discussion. If anyone is interested here is the Hitching Post high roller set that was sent to GPI when this went tits up.

Damn, sorry to hear that. Those would've been sweet. Your current chips are still some of the best I've ever seen, though.

I think I've seen it before, but I can't recall what the total estimated cost of the Star Chips order was. Does anyone know?

FWIW I looked up GPI financials (numbers in thousands):

Revenue12/31/201712/31/201612/31/201512/31/2014
Total Revenue80,60282,13978,23860,972
Cost of Revenue57,07756,80351,40342,657
Gross Profit23,52525,33626,83518,315
Operating Expenses
Research Development1,5171,1881,2151,521
Selling General and Administrative15,63516,17415,71114,606
Non Recurring----
Others----
Total Operating Expenses74,22974,16568,32958,784
Operating Income or Loss6,3737,9749,9092,188

If the star chips generated $500,000 revenue, that would have been about 0.5%.

As to whether GPI cares about our money or not, I have no idea. Just thought these numbers were interesting/relevant.

Wow helpful info that could have been posted in the op to avoid all of the craziness that followed. Thanks for your honesty and sorry it got shut down that's devistating for you and the community. What an amazing set that would have been.

Then how did they make a custom set for several people which I can only assume we're not large orders at all based on the information provided here. This is why facts matter. If GPI makes custom chip sets for a casino high roller they should make them for everyone. You keep saying security is so important, why did they throw security out the window and make these?
Your listening ears do not work. This is the last time I wil say it. You need to understand I am giving you straight shooter facts here not guesswork. A rep had agreed to make the chips through a card room. When the first batch was made GPI corporate realized what had happened and put a cease and desist on it. I have seen direct correspondence from high up GPI sales people saying this product is not for us and they have no interest in providing it.

Man, these would've been spectacular!! In for 800...

LOLZ. It cannot be done. GPI is only concerned with security for their casino only product so don't even try. It cannot happen.

Except those two times.

Cheers!

I typed my message before you replied. It was out of order. I hear you loud and clear bud.

Yup figured that out after I sent it. I think ours crossed.

Look if someone figured out how to get another GPI order across then god bless them and I have nothing but admiration. But understand no trails have been blazed for others to follow. If anything bridges have been burned. The routes that have worked so far are closed now.

FECKKKKKK that brown chip is so sick, so are the rest of them, but that brown chips is killer with the theme. Did you guys tell GPI that this card room was doing a special event and wanted special chips for this event? I don't understand how they didn't catch on to the fact that different sets were being made for the same place.
