2015 WSOP! (1 Viewer)

Dagnabbit...

They just altered the 10-Game Mix schedule at the last moment, disposing of the 3 double levels and adding a 250/500 limits level as level 4. It's likely they'll do the same with the Dealer's Choice.

http://www.wsop.com/tournaments/update/KY1/change-to-the-structure/

I'm also fearing now that the Dealer's Choice will be played with the primary WSOP chipset and not the secondary. The same as the 10-Game.

I loved the double blind levels and the thought of playing with the secondary set, but it appears they only use the secondary set for the big buy-in games now...

Still playing though of course :)

The structure changes allow more play in later stages of the tournament - When it really matters -

Primary set is not that bad either. As long as its not the monster stack set ;)

Don't think I'll bring a sweater...[emoji15][emoji26]

That'll feel like 85 since the humidity is very low. ;)

Don't forget the "Wind Chill" factor, that'll only make it feel like 118-120 or so........ ;)

Mrs. Zombie and I have played Tennis in Vegas in 112 degree heat. It really isn't bad. Your sweat evaporates nearly instantly - and evaporating sweat, not sweat sticking to your body, is how your body remains cool. The second most important thing to remember is to stay hydrated, even on short outdoor walks. Bally's to Aria (1/2 mile walk) was a full bottle (16.9oz) of water.

The first most important thing to remember? Don't get eliminated from your tournament. The WSOP is air conditioned.

Where did you play tennis ? I played a few times out at the Red Rock Country Club. The heat didn't bother me, but the elevation did.

The roof of the Plaza, Ballys a number of times, and most frequently at Lorenzi Park (Washington Ave and Rancho). It's a beautiful facility, but the drinking fountains spew 95 degree water, so you will still want to pack your own.

I've wanted to try one of the many Veags country clubs, but membership prices are crazy high to keep out riff-raff like me.

A few years ago, Red Rock ran a promo called $2 Tennis Tuesday - $2 to play + $2 beers. They grouped you by level to play doubles and you rotated partners. It was fun once I got used to the altitude and the hard courts. Afterwards, I went to Red Rock Casino for poker and more microbrews from the Yardhouse that they serve in the poker room.

I'm off to the airport as well![emoji41]

In an effort to continually disguise my hands I have cleverly chosen to take Alaska Airlines! Crazy play!

Best of Run Goods!

Good luck to you too Sean! Which events are you guys playing?

On Friday, I missed out on winning a WSOP ME seat plus $2K in travel expenses by 60 players in a 150 player field. Cincinnati Horseshoe hosted three satellites this weekend guaranteeing 15 seats...

Keep your calculations sharp and RUN great to those playing this week! Railing for ya!

Almost had a bad start to the trip. Apparently they forgot to inform the cab company of my reservation. But I'm at the airport now. Flying to London City, then a cab ride to Gatwick, and then on to Vegas.

Hope everything will go smoothly from here on in.
