GAME DAY!

Making my way over to the RIO armed with supplies from the Zombies helpful TR info list! (Hand sanitizers handy![emoji6])

The David's from CPC are in Vegas for their annual convention and I was fortunate enough to have dinner with them last night! A very nice evening of catching up and hearing entertaining stories! It sounds like things at CPC are going really well! I also received a surprise... but more on that later![emoji6]

I'll try to keep everyone updated as the day goes on but I'm going to try to keep the phone off while at the table and stay focused, relaxed, and appear to be NOT terrified![emoji15][emoji41]. Event #45 starts at noon!

Sorry for the tease! but it was being held at the bell desk in my bag until the room was ready!

David asked if I wanted to see if he could take one of my unfinished CSQ cups and "finish" it... He wasn't sure if the outcome but I said absolutely!

He surprised me with it yesterday! Cost wasn't cheap but not nearly at the high end either! THANK YOU David!

Where did you play tennis ? I played a few times out at the Red Rock Country Club. The heat didn't bother me, but the elevation did.

Someday, when there is a Denver meet-up, you MUST bring your racquet. Your superior skills vs my enhamced ability to extract oxygen from the air ought to make an interesting (if not hilarious) 3-set match.

Cards are in the air and players are slowly filing in. Among those seen in the Brasilia Room are Matt Affleck, Gabriel Nassif, Maurice Hawkins, Shannon Shorr, Allen Kessler, and Jim McManus. One compelling table has Olivier Busquet and Eric Baldwin seated across from one another with Busquet in the two seat and Baldwin in the seven seat. That's over eleven million in live tournament earnings, 61 WSOP cashes, and 1 bracelet taking up just two seats.

Maybe you'll bump into Matt Affleck and you can talk some Seahawks with him!

Good table, standard play, raises are 2 1/2 big blind... I'm at 5900 not happy but not sad... A few small pocket pairs hoping for a strong flop but unsuccessful... Not picking up great cards but I'm an optimist![emoji41]
