If you don't have any color up options you can keep the $500's in racks on the table, they can serve as 50k bundles for betting purposes. Watch some of the early WSOP's and you will see racks $100's still on the table in later levels used for $10k bets.

At a minimum we should have starting stack picks in this thread

I'm going to try it with my regulars, if it ends up a fiasco the dream will be dead. Obviously I'm trying to force this set into play, it would almost have every chip in the set in play through out the tournament.

I absolutely LOVE having a lot of chips on the table. However, at the same time, I can't stand the people who will slowly count out and put a bunch of 25 chips into the pot because they just want to get rid of their lower denom chips, which winds up slowing down the game.

So as others have said you may be better off reducing how many 500's you've got in play to avoid really mucking up the flow of the game.

Lol I've noticed on most of my pictures the denoms are laid out what I would call backwards. I sit on the couch when I set them up then walk around to the other side for the picture to get the natural day light coming from the windows.

I love big piles of chips on the table. In one of my chipsets, the T500 is a fan favorite. Load them up, but when the T500 becomes obsolete from a blinds perspective, it gets taken down - no matter how pretty they are.

With higher denoms not readily available, taking them off is not an option. It looks like I might have to rethink using these for the meetup. I wouldn't want to have a mess of a tournament for everyone travelling up here.

I was thinking a picture of a big stack of chips and a trophy would have been cool, but again not at the expense of running a good tournament.

Yes. May only count the pot in pot limit games. They are allowed to stack chips in equal stacks in hi/lo games, otherwise chips must just be spread.
