I too am finally leaning towards the Casa. More colorful. In fact every color represented (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, brown, black).

Casa, mostly because of too much met gold with the Empress.

But if using rhc for 25c/$1 and thc for $5/$25, you need a ihc hundo (unless you add a rhc nickel). Balance, baby.

Casablanca by a landslide. The only thing the Empress has going for it in your set is the shaped inlay. Everything else the Casablanca kicks butt.

I voted empress because it has a shaped inlay and a red denom, which matches your $1 and your $25 (but not your quarter and hundred) and because I've always disliked the Casablanca inlay. But if the priority is just the clay colors, the Casablanca has the edge.

I don't like Empresses at all, but the Empress definitely goes better in this set.

That's because we've been to Aruba many times, and I played in the Casablanca casino when it was open. My attitude is the same toward many other casino -- I like chips from ones I've played in or otherwise visited. The personal connection makes all the difference to me.

I don't expect others to share my feelings on any particular chips. I mean, I don't much care for TRKs, either, and I have zero use for chips from Ohio. but all these quirks save me a lot of money.

BTW, I didn't say what you refer to to denigrate Empress chips, but rather to reinforce how much I think they better suit the proposed lineup.
