I can attest that this is trueNot sure if you are aware (I wasn't until a few weeks ago), but if it is certain individuals that rub you wrong you can go to their profile page and click on "Ignore." It makes some folks much more tolerable

I guess i'm one of the "lucky" ones. No drama, no controversy, nothing bad to say about anyone or any transaction I have experienced on here.
Maybe it is because I come here to eat, sleep and breath poker and when i'm doing that i am in a happy place.
Politics? I'm glad that is in another section. Doesn't matter where you are when politics gets discussed it gets heated.
There will always be groups and clicks. Most people are part of them somewhere. For the most part this place is full of awesome people with awesome experience and resources and most of all the love of chips and poker. I can say without this forum I wouldn't have the bad ass table I was able to make, found Tony to make me some bad ass cloths or have many of the chips I currently have.
So i'll just happily continue my drama-free existence over here in the corner...

Agreed, and that's why I hate that to discuss it on this site you would have to wade into a swamp filled with many of the same adjectives hurled at members who disagree politically with someone else. At least that's how it was amongst more than a few people in the threads that existed before the sequester, I wouldn't know what it's like now, I refuse to read it. I miss the debate, it's an insane time in American and world history right now, but I'll keep it on other message boards and in person where it doesn't devolve into who can string together the best and most colorful sentences slamming someone else.
