I find the top two on the list, with the original casts, interesting. The remakes don't interest me. The game shows are always fun. The Joker's Wild fascinated me as a kid.

Honorable mention:
The current CW "Supergirl series

Has as recurring cast members:
Dean Cain ( Superman) - as her Earth Father
Helen Slater ( orig 80's Supergirl) - as her Earth mother
Lynda Carter ( orig Wonder Woman) as the US President
Teri Hatcher ( Lois Lane) - as her boyfriend's bitchy mother / villian
Laura Vandervoort - ( Supergirl/Smallville) as a villian
Kevin Sorbo ( Andromeda / Herules) as Teri Hatcher's Husband

They should remake Dukes of Hazard, 21 Jump Street and 'CHiPs' - serious versions though, not the recent 'comedic' movie versions. Loved these growing up, even though I am Australian :).

You missed one; the Brady Bunch coming back on September 7th.

Syfy has ordered a reboot of the film series “Tremors” to TV pilot, the network announced on Monday.

"....Kevin Bacon will reprise his role from the 1990 movie and serve as executive producer on the project, alongside showrunner Andrew Miller (“The Secret Circle”) and David Schiff (“Southpaw”).

In the series, the killer Graboid worms that nearly destroyed Perfection, Nevada, are back, and the town’s only hope for survival is Valentine McKee (Bacon) who beat them once. But to do it again he’ll have to overcome age, alcohol and a delusional hero complex..... "

Here's Another revival ...

TLC ANNOUNCES THE RETURN OF PAIGE DAVIS AS HOST FOR THE UPCOMING REBOOT NEW SEASON OF FAN FAVORITE "TRADING SPACES"

That show, back in it's day, actually spawned all the "homeowners remodel with host help" type shows that now seem to flood the HGTV type channels ...

Loved that show and Paige... mostly Paige. Problem is, in recent years TLC has been anything but "The Learning Channel". It's line-up, glamorizing obese people and babies, is 1/2 step ahead of the Jerry Springer show. I cannot imagine that advertisers are going to connect a helpful home improvement show with a trash-tv network, and I will be crestfallen if Trading Spaces becomes all about trailer-home remodels.

Loved that show and Paige... mostly Paige......."
I remember it was one of the top rated cable shows at the time ...
& Paige was photographed flashing her underwear while collecting money at an aids benefit, & was immediately fired by the network "stiffs" ..
The show went on for 6 months or so "without a host", ratings tanked without Paige, & was it soon canceled.
Probably one the the most idiotic network moves in reality TV ....

I had always wondered why the show took a suicide course. Hire a sex-pot, then fire her if she's a sex-pot. Replace her with Honey Boo-Boo, because that's in line with our moral values.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Yet Another announced old/new :

Karate Kid’ TV Sequel "Cobra Kai" Starring Originals Ralph Macchio & William Zabka Set for 10 Episodes
".. Logline: Thirty years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, a down-and-out Johnny Lawrence (Zabka) seeks redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo, reigniting his rivalry with a now successful Daniel LaRusso (Macchio), who has been struggling to maintain balance in his life without the guidance of his mentor, Mr. Miyagi.
The show is about two men addressing past demons and present frustrations the only way they know how: through karate.
Cobra Kai is written and executive produced by Josh Heald (Hot Tub Time Machine), and Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg (Harold & Kumar, American Reunion). ..."

The Munsters

The upcoming reboot of this classic ‘60s sitcom will relocate the family to “hipster Brooklyn,” where they try to fit in as an ordinary family, according to reports. Seth Meyers of “Saturday Night Live” fame is one of the producers of the show. The original series lasted only two seasons, but spawned several moderately successful movies.

"NBC plans to bring back Miami Vice.
A premiere date hasn’t been set, but Vin Diesel is one of the producers .. "

" David Hasselhoff, who starred in the original Knight Rider, recently confirmed that the show is again getting the reboot treatment..."

I can't believe they ripped off Fall Out Boy's Uma Thurman

;)

Footnote:
This Thursdays debut of the Gong Show revival, with the new Host supposedly 62 yr old "British Host /comedian Bill Maitland" ,
is actually Mike Meyers in makeup/disguise ...

I watched this last week, sadly, and the wife and I both remarked how the host looks like he's decaying rapidly under the studio lights. Now we know why. Sheesh.
