Mine arrived yesterday. Very nice. Thanks a lot.
RECEIVED!
They're very nice - feel and look great - will get them in play tonight!
Thnaks!
EDIT: Three of the four people that bought a setup with me are playing tonight, so that's four people getting deliveries today. I'll see the last one tomorrow. Thanks for putting my six setups in the first mailing run.
Also, I already regret not ordering more.
Yes I did like the split 4 and the unique QPlayed last night... Everyone approves.
The 4 and Q are hits, too.
Would someone mind comparing the cards against other poker-size jumbo cards (pip size, etc)? I'm curious to see how they compare.
It turns out I don't have many jumbo pip cards but here are a couple of comparison shots.
...
What are you looking for?If anybody got any extras (or don't like theirs) hit me up. No idea why I didn't jump in on this one.
Couple decks of jumbo pokerWhat are you looking for?
I ordered extra for me but could be persuaded to let a couple go!Couple decks of jumbo poker
Let me know. I'd be glad to grab a red and a blue if you want to let some go.I ordered extra for me but could be persuaded to let a couple go!:
I keep asking and they say those were not a big seller and were discontinued. It might be a European thing. Anyway, I have a note to keep asking them every quarter in hopes that they will print them again. At this time, Austria is completely out of previously printed cards of that size and index and they have no plans to reprint them.Hey David, any more word on whether the Bridge/Jumbo non-4 corner index are ever going to be available again?
I might have to try that with a setup of warped Gemaco cards although the only chicken I have here is boneless! Thanks for continuing to pester them David.
I'll bury some sacrificial warped KEM cards with some chicken bones under a full moon and hope for the best.![]()
Find some Kings. I ended up with a setup of those and they're really nice, and from Austrailia, I believe.Damn these are nice. Hard to get decent cards in Australia.
Personally, I would have preferred Jumbo Index bridge size as well but they did not have anymore in stock and it appears that the folks in Europe like the international index for bridge so they are not planning to print them. My contact did say that I will be sent the new catalogue when it is available in January. If this catalogue shows the Bridge Jumbo index available you can c*nt on another GB then!I'm so torn. These are nice. I've been gathering various makes/models of cards and these are really nice. I wanted bridge/jumbo, but I don't think Piatnik makes those. Also, I have Piatnik bridge regular index and, is it me, or do they handle differently than the poker size? They just seem more slippery than the poker. Maybe the added weight of the poker cards slows them down a bit (making them less slippery)? I like the poker so much, i might just add them to my bridge rotation anyway.
