That's great! lol.
I mean, if a Canadian team besides the Oilers has to win the Cup, there would be worse choices than the Habs, that's for sure. Still, as an Oilers fan, I feel like Buffalo Sabres Fan is our spiritual twin in terms of cheering for franchises blessed with historically bad front offices over the past 20 years or so.

But really, all they need to do is win 1 on the road. Let it all hang out.. nothing to lose. The Habs will have some pressure to close it out at home. If the Sarbes can win game 6 in Montreal, they have momentum coming home for Game 7. Sure they'd be in a better spot if they won Game 5 at home and went to Montreal with the Habs feeling the pressure, but its not as bleak as it seems for the Sarbes.

Win or lose Montreal is the better team or has been the better team in the series at least. We're getting literally zero production out of our top players of Thompson, Tuch, Zucker, Norris etc. I think both Tuch and Thompson are like a -8 or something. The some of the soft goals we've let in. Can't win like that. Our PP was always gonna be a problem but I didn't expect our top guys to actively hurt us, and they have.
You guys have been a handful, excellent special teams. We get early leads then get punched in the mouth and go away. Opposite of the way we've played all year.
Whelp, looks like I’m down to cheering for Buffalo or Montreal from here on out. As an Oilers fan, I really don’t want to watch Vegas, Colorado or Carolina win (again).

Colorado will roll Vegas IMO. I'm here for it too. Carolina and Montreal should be a pretty decent series but I think Carolina is a better version of Montreal and should win. I'll be rooting for the Habs if they make it. I feel so fucking dirty saying that.

The Hab-Sabres series has been each team taking advantage of mistakes or taking bad penalties at the worst time. The refs let them play last night...only a few penalties called unlike the previous games.

Yep, we could end up forcing a 7 too. As Wedge said, Habs will be under tremendous pressure to win and we've been fairly decent on the road. Game 7 is whatever, a coin flip.
I will root for whoever wins this series to take the Cup.

Avs are taking it this year. Wedgewood got his head screwed on straight, and unless Makar is seriously injured, they’ll take the best defense and the best offense into the WCF and the SCF.
So the Pistons just won Game 6 on the road, coming home for Game 7.

This game is pretty crazy but the diving (on both teams) has been insane this series. I really want the NHL to progressively fine players for diving, it’s becoming ridiculous.
Also, both these teams can’t control their sticks lol, this must be a record for the amount of high sticking calls in a series
