Is the batch number labeled somewhere? I've seen a couple recently for like $100, worth it for that price?

I think the proofs differentiate the batches IIRC.

Batch numbers are printed on the backside label. And yes…they’re worth every penny at $100! Of all the bottles I’ve purchased last year, Port Charlotte 18 was the only one I liked better than B10.

I’m now just noticing how much darker B13 is compared with B10 which tells me there’s a little more sherry casks in this mix. I think I read somewhere that B10 was 90/10 bourbon /sherry.

Lol, I literally picked one up the other day and was hunting for some small print. Tough to see the forest through the trees sometimes.....

Woodford Reserve - double oaked - Single Barrel barrel proof - HIGHLY recommended

(Got mine at costco for under $90)

What proof did they consider "barrel proof"? My local had one, $100+ and 96 proof....

That's typical proof for these. I think over 100 proof is a miracle. Mine's 95.68 proof.

And for the typical $100-110 + tax I would not have done it. Under $90, I thought sure why not.

Also interesting that my Costco had the barrel strength Woodford masters rye MSRP $130 for I want to say under $80. I can't tell if they keep lowering that price or not.

New bottle pop, Old Forester 100p store pick. I've been disappointed by these in the past, but this was an infamous floor 8 pick, and wow I'm glad I grabbed it, delicious. Banana pudding, marzipan, spicy charred oak, dark chocolate covered cherries.

Hell of a day at work, but a good day as well as we got official word on startup of a key project and one of my best career proposal wins. So I'm simultaneously numbing and celebrating :cool

Very glad I got a backup of each of these.

Edit to add - the 2025 sherry cask packs more punch and flavor overall, but this new port cask finish is amazing. It's vanilla ice cream drizzled with raspberry syrup with a peaty sea salt breeze background. Crazy good.

Seems like another US-only release unfortunately :confused
