I gave the $10 primer at the beginning and have received no further communication so am kind of pissed at you right now.Yes you can use a power bank, 45W should work, I tested this one that lasts for at least 6 hours.

Yes we will have a few machines remaining when all Kickstarter pledges are shipped.
It doesn't "shuffle" in the traditional sense. Instead it loads the cards into a drum with 54 slots, then spits them out on a randomized fashion. Can the machine do multiple shuffles without a manual reload or is it supposed achieve randomization on just the one load/shuffle?

Imho the dealer function seems kinda gimmicky and redundant.

That’s great! Thanks for the info. After one load/shuffle you get true mathematical randomness.
Contrary to the ST 1000 or toy shufflers relying on a mechanical riffle (that needs to be repeated to get closer to random generation), LeShuffler uses true random number generation to order cards, so you get a fully random deck the first time.
I understand, I just don’t see it being anything more than an annoyance sitting on the felt spitting out cards. The shuffle part is obv great since it works in the background preparing a fresh deck for the next deal, but ”the dealer” would just get in the way. At least that’s how I’m picturing it.Regarding the dealer function, it allows to use LeShuffler as a continuous card shuffler, so you only reload spent cards between games.
When playing poker, especially with a small number of players it massively speeds up the game - some players find value in it.
Dimensions?
Understood. I have quite a few poker playing friends who felt exactly the same... until they experienced itThat’s great! Thanks for the info.

Fair enough, it may be unfair preconceptions along with my grumpy tendencies. I also noticed that I had already expressed my concerns/asked questions when the thread was new, sorry. I guess we can add lazy to the list of my many wonderful traits.Understood. I have quite a few poker playing friends who felt exactly the same... until they experienced it.
We were using a side table for an ST1000.Definitely a table space eater and no way to mount it out of the way.
Maybe none shipped? We were using a side table for an ST1000.
That would have been the plan for one of these if it lived up to the hype.
This was looking promising but the lack of any feedback since they actually finally shipped is pretty disconcerting.
Looks like a serious machine, but still too bulky to sit on a poker table.
Happy to be proven wrong but I really can’t see any way around this particular issue and would love to get first hand info from people such as:Definitely a table space eater and no way to mount it out of the way.

Hello,
Any news on the other 48 that shipped?Hello,
I have had direct contact with @suited67 who has received his machine, he DM'd that LeShuffler was "working great so far".
I imagine he will provide feedback to the forum when he has more perspective, but of course that's up to him.
I don't know what is the shipping status for @London24.
Best,
François
Hi @Coyote and @BPTDirector,Looks like a serious machine, but still too bulky to sit on a poker table.
This feature has now been added in the machines we are shipping (the ones already delivered can be updated).Overall, everyone felt very positive about it. The build quality was considered very good, and the design also looks very successful. (...) one more point we wanted to add. At the moment, it is not possible to tell the device that, for example, there are 4 players and it should deal all cards as a stack, meaning it keeps the cards in the device and the dealer then removes them and distributes them manually. This mattered because with 8 people at the table space was quite limited, and it was difficult for the dealer to distribute the automatically dealt cards properly. Our ideal workflow would be that the device shuffles and places the cards into the front tray, and then the dealer distributes the 4, 6, 8, 10 and so on cards needed before the flop. Unfortunately, this option does not seem to be available in the settings.

Are there any pictures of a completed unit? Doesn’t have to have been shipped. I’m not sure I ever saw a picture of anything finishedHi @Coyote and @BPTDirector,
I received some feedback from the Kickstarter backers that received their machine - only one comment on space so far, see below:

With this firmware update, you can either:
What is great with options 2 and 3 is that they make full use of the "continuous shuffler" feature, with very little down time between rounds.
- Use the machine as shuffler-only,
- Have LeShuffler deal cards on table,
- Or as suggested above, deal cards as a "stack" in the front tray, to be picked and pitched by the dealer.
Regarding footprint, LeShuffler is 15 cm (6 in) wide - it takes less space than a player or dedicated dealer, so I suppose it is not a problem if there is space at the table, either a vacant seat or a dedicated spot for the dealer.
For a full table, @jazzV3's suggestion (using the machine as a shuffler-only on a side table, see below) should work well.
Hope this helps, any question let me know.
Best,
François
