I mean, I think we can only attribute a few weeks of delay to this company. I’ve been apart of these group buys before with the same company that only took a month or so.It seems abundantly clear that this company is likely the absolutely most useless waste of space around.. Seems it would have been about 8 months quicker to do this 152 separate orders instead of a large order..
You know how it feels to be poked in the eye over and over again? You know how you sometimes have a dream that you trying to do something……..go somewhere, fix something etc etc. But you just can’t get it done? Something always distracts you or an issue comes up or whatever. Know what i mean?
That’s what this GB feels like.
Nothing seems clear at all…
Just an FYI that these are the type of posts that frustrate people on here… it’s a lot of fluff and no substance.I’ll answer when I get home.
Nothing to worry about.
People asked for clarity so that’s what I’m providing.
Sorry I'll keep it to only information that is actual information and not fluffJust an FYI that these are the type of posts that frustrate people on here… it’s a lot of fluff and no substance.
So are we to understand that right now you are simply going to wait for an email? Like you did a few weeks ago when you stated that you sent them everything they needed to begin production, but they didn't? Don't you think you should ask your new contact (who you stated is very good at communication) if they could provide you with some actual dates? Date that production will begin. Anticipated date that production will be completed. anticipated date that the product will be shipped?I sent a clarification email to the printers on the 16th with 5 different designs to make sure they understand correctly and print the right thing.
I didn’t receive an email back yet.
Not sure what else to say other than that.
I got an email the other week saying that they didn’t have an order for me. I quickly resolved that same day. They found my open order and I had asked why nobody on their team emailed me within the two weeks of me approving all of the designs. Didn’t get an answer to that. So, I’m working with someone and getting these into production. I talked via phone probably twice and emailed back and forth all of the questions they have had so far.
As soon as I get an email with something regarding production I’ll update this again. It just seems at times if I have an update to give it gets more troll responses than actual positive responses. I get this has taken forever…
I’ll give them a ring tomorrow
At this point can those 5 designs be removed? Can the owner be notified and they fix it themselves? If it’s my design I would have bowed out of this months ago for the sake of everyone else waiting. If it’s my design and I had been notified in March, or June, or August I would have taken it upon myself to fix it ASAP, in a day or two. People aren’t trolling you just to troll you Okku, it’s frustrating to be provided false hope again and again and continually be disappointed. It just feels like this went from “oh he’s a good guy that just is overwhelmed by his first group buy” to “ok well he has a lot going on his life so it’s ok if he lies a handful of times because he’ll make good eventually” and now the vibe seems to be “he understands that people are frustrated so he’ll at least post things every few days even though nothing is getting done.” I’m not in the party that thinks your scamming anyone but I am of the mind that you have taken people’s money, provided and relapsed on expectations many times, and have well surpassed what could be considered reasonable patience. I really do wish this could be handed off to someone with experience who could just finish it off and be done with it. If you insist on continuing as the point person can you at least, obviously after your family and livelihood, make this your top priority?I'll bet money the five versions he attached to the email for reference will need adjustments.
(And that's not a dig at Okku)
Did they give any feedback after this message? I think at this point it’s reasonable to expect them to give same day responses and updates to keep this moving and keep aggressive with them if needed.“ Good morning!
I sent everything over to the project lead and she is updating the order. I will check in with her to see if she needs anything.”
Latest information I’ve received this morning.
This isn’t meant as a dig on you because it sounds like it has been super frustrating for you in working with them, but could you provide clarity on exactly what is causing all of the back and forth with the vendor? It seems like you have finalized designs like a dozen times and then there is always another issue that pops up that needs to be addressed. Is it issues with their end processing it? Certain designs not meeting criteria? Them losing something and needing to start fresh with formatting?Staying aggressive with them, just sent another email with two other questions they had regarding clarification on design.
As the day goes on and I get more answers I will update. I'll get an estimated delivery date/production timeline once they don't have any questions.
Someone needs to help Oscar w the shipping. He has a newborn baby. No way should that be on his plate.Lots of people complaining and such, but has anyone in the group offered to help with calls, emails and such… or just a bunch of BS? I don’t have an order in nor the ability to access email and my phone during the day, but @Okku, if I can help you out in any way, please let me know.
I suggested that in this thread back in late June, didn't really seem to get any traction. I live in South Carolina, so not as much help as PCF's that are in the Vegas area. Maybe though, we have some members that have done big GB's like this that could simply help remotely with some process advice? The process being getting hundreds of individual GB's sorted, packaged, labeled and shipped.Someone needs to help Oscar w the shipping. He has a newborn baby. No way should that be on his plate.
This was done and paid for a LONG time ago yes.Money was collected (and presumedly paid) a LONG time ago.
