Feedback and suggestions, label and plaque design (1 Viewer)

Looking for help creating the design for a new project.

This is the set (chips have already been milled):

WHITE - $1
YELLOW - $5
RED - $20
Acrylic Plaques - $100

Because of the conditions of the chips, I decided for an old/vintage/retro look set.

H-mold was perfect for a Habana Hilton Casino tribute:

This is where I am now:

Plaque will be acrylic by Tina 81x56mm.

I'm pretty satisfied with the label's appearance, but the plaque needs some improvement.
Any suggestions or guideline I must follow?

Since you used all lower case on the chips, maybe do the same on the plaques... And I would use the same green color, though you might need a shadow or outline to make it show against the gray base color.

Alternatively, could the plaque base color be a similar green, with the text in white or black?

I would consider going with an even bolder font for the denoms, like on the Bicycle Club:

I think that works really well with the minimalistic design you have (which I love and think fits perfectly with the chips)

Edit: I would also use capital first letters for each word

I agree the denom could be bolder or more unique like that original Hilton font. There’s so much space and the denom is the star.

The idea was to stay close to the original design but I wasn't able to find the font they used for the denomination.
I will try to make the numbers bolder and share the results.

You likely won’t find the denom font- my money’s on it being hand drawn. I’d recommend finding a close free font and then editing the points to get what you want.

I do like the all lowercase- as was in fashion back then.

"Bycicle style" on the right. I like the look but I don't think it fits in a '60s Cuba casino theme.

It's not only about the color, it's more about the whole design.
The chips are solid, the label is pretty minimal and clean so I think I need to simplify the look of the plaque.
Tina is suggesting insert white marble, print transparent black over, so you can see a little marble on background.
I'm working on something like this now...
