A mini-3-day-vacation in Hemavan, a small ski-resort in northern Sweden. So far great weather!
The people here are friendly! Talked to a guy when traveling up the ski lift who was quite drunk, and when I asked how many he'd had he asked if I wanted one! There's only one right answer to that!

Took trip to Alaska the week before heading to Vegas for the Main Event. Talk about fire and ice, or in this case, ice and fire. And yes, I took every one of these pictures.

Spent the last few days fly fishing the North Platte River out of Casper, WY.
Below is where we launched the drift boat yesterday. Thought to myself, “This is awesome!” … and then the guide from the other boat just casually mentions, “Dude, there were SO many rattlesnakes out yesterday!” I suddenly became far less enthusiastic.
Spring time on the North Platte can produce huge fish. Caught a few in this class size (personal bests for me, which is always exciting).
Had a pure Wyoming experience yesterday to finish things off. We were fishing a solid 90 minutes off the grid, and I told my guide I needed to get back to Denver to catch a red eye. He brings me to this fork in the road and says, “50 miles down this road is the next town that’ll hook you up with the highway.” As you can imagine… I didn’t see a single soul in those 50 miles.

Staying a few days at our friends’ beautiful place in the very south of Sweden. We’ve been visiting close to every summer. Sadly, this is the last time as the place was recently sold.

i feel you on that....my wifes uncle has a beach house that we would go to 2-3x a year but he's selling the house so we went last week for the last time...i had to move all our stuff out of it as we had 3 furnished rooms in it. Sad its not available anymore

Here is a beautiful sunset for ya over the break wall in Grand Haven, Michigan. I guess the good news from the Canadian wild fires is that we get awesome sunsets here in the States!!!

Hey man, it was so nice to put a face to the name! I hope you had an amazing trip up here and I hope you enjoyed our little new casino.
