Still trying to figure out why anyone would post a thread looking for chips and not include a pic of what they want. Can someone explain this to me.

Plus you know how I feel admins/mods couldn’t even be described as feckless, that would be a compliment to them at this point.

I don’t seek y’all out. Hell I didn’t even reply for a year+ to most. That didn’t stop it.
It’s been admitted that anywhere I post will turn into a complain about Barrie thread - believing that person makes me narcissistic somehow. Yet people are literally trying to "read between the lines" and think my posts are about them, when I don't give them a second thought. You can't make this sh*t up.
It’s gotten to the point where even when I stay in my lane and post only in specific threads, I still can’t escape y’all - and have been told many times to “just go” or “leave”.
I mean ffs, I have people claiming I "was relieved that a door was opened for me to blurt out that I've yet to be paid", when I literally just wrote that completely off and moved on from the thread in hopes of never having to deal with it again. I literally only responded because a PCFer is posting publicly that I didn't follow through on a charity donation. You can't make this sh*t up.
I'm being held accountable for messing up half a decade ago, from which I apologized and made anything whole (and to which I still don't consider a big deal, I have 3 different shipments incoming that were paid for at least 3-5 weeks and haven't received, they'll get here when they get here, status quo). Yet y'all refuse to be held accountable for actions and words in the past months, days, hours, minutes.
At least we know PCF is cool with theft, is cool with damaging homes, is cool with lying and slander. It's the internet anyways, y'all just gotta say sh*t long enough and eventually it'll be considered true.

Five years is a long time to carry a grudge against someone. Especially on the Internet. Hell, I’ve been here forever and simply cannot remember what went on but can everyone just leave this in their past? I know it’s always been better once I truly forgave an incident that didn’t go my way even though it’s hard to let go. Try it, it’s very freeing, and adult. Need to read the book again. It’s been a while. Luca Brasi is such a better character in the book vs the movie.
For sure. I would be perfectly happy with simply keeping my mental note of ”never deal with that guy again”. It just sometimes rubs me the wrong way when he keeps making posts trying to hold people to some kind of moral standard that he himself hasn’t been anywhere near.

Again, I’m cool with gifs, memes, name calling, etc etc etc. Do whatever you want. I think my lack of responses except for the WSOP thread showcase this. I think I’ve been pretty chill with people who have stiffed me, stolen from me, or destroyed property.

You should host one! I have very little experience, but it appears most folks host a meetup they’d personally like to attend - making them wildly different and unique.

At the risk of bringing up something related to morals, I think this is an interesting topic and I DONT know which side is the unpopular opinion.
The recent WTHC find made me think of it. Maybe specifically for not brand new chippers, do we have a responsibility to not completely take advantage of folks who don’t know what they have?
I don’t think there’s a right answer, and for those that answer yes, what’s the right landing spot? Is it 10% of market, 25%? Does it not matter and its seller beware?
Ive personally been part of 4 different finds/negotiations, and for all of them I struggled on pinpointing that landing spot.

Interesting question. I’m all for getting a nice score on the marketplace like this from a guy who’s not a chip seller just buying and selling stuff from storage sheds in bulk.
But when it comes to new chippers on this site, it feels more icky to do that. That’s just me!
