In Progress (ordering closed) Custom Cut Card Group Buy - Jan 2025 (5 Viewers)

Was there confirmation that these shipped last week? I don't think it's unreasonable to get some kind of update and eta on the rest of the process.
I agree, I know it’s a big group buy but we are coming up on the half year mark since this thread opened.
 
Any update on this?!

Last we heard, these were supposed to ship a week ago. It's been crickets for almost 2 weeks.

So it seems like the scope of the GB got way bigger than was originally expected and from what I can infer perhaps @Okku has a busy life at the moment outside of PCF (i.e. priorities). I can see how the thing has become a bear for him. I'm just speculating here, just based on the last few weeks of posts.

@Okku - what can we do to help? I don't live anywhere near Vegas but I'd guess we've got some members that do? Is there anyone close by that can offer to help pack up deliveries? Or anything else that can help?. I'm only assuming the cut cards are delivered or soon to be delivered.

Hate to be that guy that volunteers others without doing anything himself.......just trying to find a way to help get this thing across the finish line.

I could be out of line, apologies if I am.
 
I can agree that this got larger than I was expecting and I'm truly trying to get this finished. Of course I've done buys at work with customers, but nothing to this magnitude.

Let alone making sure that the manufacturer has all 150 odd designs and makes sure that they are all correct when the proof is sent.

@Omar65 nailed it, but it's not like I'm trying to put this on the back burner. I've been working nonstop to get this done with the manufacturer so that I can get them delivered to you guys.

If anyone knows me, I'm the last person to take someone's money and run off with it if that's what anyone is thinking I'm doing. I'm working with the manufacturer to get these delivered as soon as possible. So, please bear with me and let me finish what I need to do with them and I'll get them to you accordingly.
 
My biggest regret with that GB was not communicating better.
I feel this way, but I just feel pressured anytime someone starts asking where things are, this and that, checking to see if I've looked at the thread and so on.

PCF will be lucky to have a non-vendor help run something like this again.

Amen to that. I lose my mind whenever I need to package up more than 2 or 3 sales. 150 different orders? Yeah, no.

Thx @Okku for all your work! I think almost non of us has any idea of how much work and effort this GB requires!!! I made one purchase of custom cutcards and the back and forth with the company drove me crazy, and there has been just two different designs lol

I guess many people here would certainly appreciate a little more transparency about the current status.

This. I had sent an email the other week asking if there were any other confusions with the excel and files that I had sent. Got a response and I was told a few other files were "missing". I was working on them yesterday sent another email and got another one this morning that a few more are missing. I guess I had thought if they had a the poker size file they could convert it to bridge size by themselves, but turns out that's not the case. I've got a few more to do today and I'll be sending another email.

Once I've got confirmation that all the files are correct and received from them, I'll let you guys know. That should be here either tomorrow or Thursday.

Sorry for the confusion/fog.

I don't want to pile on, and I think we all appreciate the responses, but I'm confused. How was tracking showing they were to be delivered last week if there is still work to done on artwork files?

Sorry for the confusion/fog.

This, I've been trying to get the files worked and figured out and with the pressure that I was feeling. I thought that saying that it was shipped/on the way would relieve some of that pressure, but that wasn't the right thing to do.

Appreciate any/all updates, Okku - but know there's a balance of communicating too much when timelines/etc are fluid with manufacturer.
