I really can't believe how quickly i smashed my last Lucky Seven 14yr Proprietor. Damn it was GREAT! Now it's gone....

I'm onto a ECBP B520, just as great as I remember

Those lucky seven 14yr are delicious! Just put the EC this in a blind this weekend.

EC B520 > Stagg 24b > jeppsons (7 yr bp green river) >>>>>> jd sp.

The B520 is delicious, really getting me back on team EC... I recently picked up a C921 - excited to crack it.

The stagg 24b is the only one I missed out on last year. It ranked last in my stagg 24 release blind, but it showed really well here - just really sweet and delicious, just kinda dies off on the finish. The jeppson's is a cherry bomb but had an herbal quality that kinda tamed the finish rather than building on the fruit.

The JD SBBP SP just didn't gel with my palate. It was very minerally and had a date / raisiny red wine note that dominated. JD bourbons have always been something of an outlier to me.
