Looking for a Rio World Series of Poker 500,000 chip. Offering $200 for a chip, plus shipping. LMK if you have one. Thanks!

Also, could work chips below in on some sort of trade:

I had to pay $200 for mine as an fyi but I’m a chronic over payer lol

My biggest chipping regret has been immediately changed from not buying more PCA 500s from Jim in the original Chiproom sale to not buying 10+ of every chip from Ryan and re-distributing them on PCF.

So many people condescendingly and confidently thought the market was going to get flooded. I wonder where the naysayers are now

NOT hosting with reasonably priced Rio’s

What do you mean? Were there ever reasonably priced Rios?
Guess that depends on an individual’s definition of “value”. For what they are, I would venture to say yes, they could be had for a “reasonable” price. Some chippers think paying $7/ for mint THCs is not reasonable. Others may say $15/ is reasonable on a per chip basis for their sets. All in the eyes of the beholder I suppose. Your point is not lost on Rio $/chip but given some wanted ads these days, I’d say initial pricing was “reasonable” relative to demand now…

If you were willing to get bulk low denoms and work a deal with him off of eBay they weren't insane. Maybe 1.5 to 2x Tigers averages and a few dollars a chip more than Binions.

He offered me $20 a chip as a starting point for the 100-100Ks for 200+ chips and was willing to go down for a larger purchase but I had medical payments at the time. In hindsight, I really should have done it anyways. Not sure what he wanted for bulk oversized but the people who do know ain't gonna tell you publicly.

A lot of the people selling here got them for $15-25 a chip and are unloading their extras as singles for 2-3x profit now that they are gone from eBay. To be clear I have zero problem with this, but we should call a spade a spade.

Some single chip prices went as high as $75 even w bulk discounts. Think higher denoms etc…

And I always remind people if you found a $20 bill, would you sell it for $10? Friends take care of friends and then there’s the open marketplace of PCF.

But everything else you said sounds very accurate. By my estimation less than 10 people acquired a playable set.

I still say give it time. Look where PCA secondaries were maybe 2 years ago. A rack of fracs just went for just over $400 and unsurprisingly, another rack is just sitting on the classifieds unsold.

Not exactly apples to apples but a handful of months isn't going to give you a full picture.

Fracs were never that in demand compared to the higher denoms, were they?

Noe interesting would be the $500 singles, or even $5, $25, $100..
