Hey guys,

I am looking to upgrade my setup, but I'm weird and despise the 20 chip/row trays since most chips come in rolls of 25 and nothing triggers me more than looking at a row of mis-matched chips.

Does anyone have a site that sells 4x25 chip trays that are in stock? I don't care if there is a lid since they simply be sitting in a case. Every place I have found them at is sold out :/

I am going to purchase an Apache 3800 and the goal is to fit 600 39mm chips, 2-3 cases of Copag cards (4-6 total decks), and 3 buttons. Those are the only restrictions I have.

I would also love any tips/tricks on how to pluck/cut the foam for a nice fit on the card cases & buttons!

I haven't seen any chip rack that's 25per row that isn't "vintage".

I've seen old paper boxes that are 4x25. I've seen some covered rectangular plastic boxes (made for old Super Diamonds?) that are 4x25. Lastly, I've seen some old leather and wooden cases that have open wooden trays inside that were 4x25 - they had a button handle to lift the tray out.

My exact experience.

Haven't seen any in a while but they are out there, only ones I found with a quick search: https://www.pokerstore.nl/chiptray-with-cover-4x25.html (no us based), Walmart has them but is almost out of stock: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Transpar...ontainer-Multi-use-Compartment-Box/5293332187 but if you find them get the ones that are softer/flexible plastic not the hard thin plastic type that chip just by looking at them hard.

Here is the best storage/case I've seen using the 4x25 boxes (courtesy of @gopherblue )

I've used those 25 ct/row lidded boxes in the past, I got them from casinosupply.com

They no longer have them on their website, but it might pay to reach out to them and see if they have any in their warehouse, or maybe they can give you a lead on where you might find some.

Good luck in your search :tup:

4x25=100 = 1 rack with 20chip/row x 5 rows :)

I wouldn't mind a 25 chip per rack for tournament stacks.
I was on a mission to find them a few years ago:

Found one place that sold them but shipping was high-ish, so I never ordered from them and now they’re not available. :(
I've looked for these as well. Never found them commercially available.
I just found some from here AZ Darts

It’s a closeout sale so no clue how many are available, nor the quality, but I ordered them since they will just be sitting in my case.

Let me know if any of you want to see pics/have any questions for when they arrive!

Yes please report back once you get them!

I asked Justin if he considered making these as they are directly applicable to his product, but he doubted the market would be large enough.

When I think about ordering 175 of a denom , then having 15 chips in a barrel instead of a full barrel I do not like it. It has me considering just going up to even 100 quantities on the Tangiers order simply to avoid mixed barrels.

The trays I ordered from AZ Darts should be in sometime today, updates to come!!

I also am going to be in on the Tangiers order and I’m very excited to get them! I am upgrading from a premade Monte Carlo set with the annoying mismatch rows from 5x20 trays. I contemplated paying for expedited shipping so I could have them for my bachelor party at the end of June but since we have a wedding to pay for I figured it wasn’t the best use of my money

@JackJack

Kardwell has some also. They won’t stack like Justin’s but they would hold full barrels of Tina’s.

They just came in! They have definitely seen better days, they came scratched up, so if you want them to sit out in the open I would suggest checking out the link from @JackJack but if you just want something to hold 25 chips per row and sit inside of a case until it’s time to play then I would check them out since they are available.

They look like Marion heavy diamond chip cases!

I bought a couple dozen of these for my casino rental business from Brybelly last year. Now I wish I cleared them out, they don't sell them anymore

The one I have seems like it would be great in an Apache case, more efficient than most racks. Do you agree?

It really comes down the specific case. You can get 1 x 4 x 3 high Justin racks + one vertical rack + one 7 7/8" tubes (on the vertical rack) for a total of over 1,350 chips. That's some efficient and dense chip storage in a 3800. Pretty sure you can do 1,500 chips if you forgo some padding.

I used these 25 per row cases in combination with Justin racks to get 1020 chips, plus 2 set ups of cards into an Apache 3800. Could even sneak a few more chips, dealer buttons, etc. in there......

Nice. And you can definitely move bottom foam to top. Use that white foam on bottom and add a 3rd level.

What's the skinny pads on the side? I'm all about maximum space.
