I'm afraid it is L10. You have to completely make and press the Halfpie first (or it will fall apart) and then punch it as a 614 (one by one manually to get the alignment right)
Looking at the patterns, I think the choice of 6TA14A or 6TA14 would actually depend on the colors of the clay.

My first real set of chips were Inplays on the Cigar and Snifter mold. I liked the mold so much that I contacted Sidepot and asked Stephen if I could have some customs done on the mold and was told that customs were not an option. This was back before BCC was purchased and moved.
If the mold is still around and a deal could be worked out could the Cigar and Snifter mold be used on your presses?

There are a lot of unknowns
The Blue Chip molding process, like Paulson, is completely different to ours which applies significantly more heat and pressure, so molds that were developed for use at BCC may not be suitable for us.
At the time of closing, Blue Chip had in their possession quite a few molds (including some they never used), which were owned by various parties. Many were acquired by Paulson as part of the takeover to get them off the market. Others were presumably returned to the owners.
Although I have asked around, no-one has yet been able to tell me whether any usable molds exist or where they are.

how are CPC inlays different from Paulson inlays?
I mean it seems to me like Paulson has inlays that are almost permanently embedded into the chips and are sunken into it. for example, Terribles Casino chips.
Yet my Huron Poker ASM set, 3-4 of the inlays popped off or can be peeled away with a sharp nail almost.
I have taken off a Paulson inlay before with a knife. But it seems like most cant be taken off no matter what.
Im not trying to knock on ASM/CPC but having a few fall off like this without trying to get them off is odd. Maybe a bad batch from back in 2011/12?

There was an adhesive issue in the past but that is long solved.
No difference between Paulson and CPC inlays. I've had many Paulson inlays pop. I've never found one I couldn't remove either.

The only thing Paulson may have done in more recent years is to use inlays with self adhesive backs. This isn't to prevent them falling off though, it's to make it well nigh impossible for a player to swap inlays under the table or in the washroom at a casino (yes it's been done many times in the past).
The suction created from pressing a chip even with no glue is as strong as the glue. Poor storage is the main reason inlays pop. After that it is because of a faulty cup in a mold. Given the time yours were made and the fact I only just noticed they were MD50, I'd speculate the bad ones came from one of the damaged cups that have now been disregarded.

if you look at a chip like the terribles or Oak tree, the inlay is almost appearing to be set in the chip. So the inlay is flat even with the base.

Ive never noticed any difference between the Paulsons I have or any of the ASM/CPC samples sets I own. All the inlays seem completely flat to me.

The molds vary, just the way they are designed. MD50 is a little different.
Acrest or FDL give the same impression as the Paulson. As do the large inlays on any mold.
David, there has been some discussion about the various ceramic offerings from CPC in a couple of threads recently in the context of an overall review of custom ceramics currently available. It is known that Game On, ABC, and PGI (through the purchase of the equipment and formula from Chipco) have proprietary blanks and it was noted that Sunfly also produces the "molded ceramic" chips available through CPC. Is it possible for you to discuss the source of the blanks used (both standard and hybrid) by CPC and who prints them?
I also noticed in the sample set you sent me that the rolling edges on the hybrid chips are incredibly well-aligned. Is the process for printing the rolling edge sufficiently similar for both the hybrid and standard ceramics that one could expect similarly high quality alignment on all ceramics available through CPC?

The sample sets are a mix of aligned and unaligned. If you pay that premium all the products will have the same quantity alignment. All our ceramics are on Sunfly materials as they offer a wider range of shapes and sizes.
Buster Keaton is level 10, Tim Conway is level 8.
Regarding the actors of Seinfeld, Michael Richard is a level 7 and Jason Alexander is a level 6. J's fans feel he is undeserving of such a lowly score, but he fact of the matter is that Wayne Knight often stole the show with his appearances, and he has a level 6.5 rating.
Are the ceramic chips ordered from CPC manufactured entirely by Sun-Fly, or does CPC do the printing in-house?

I can't (and wouldn't - lol) give you a precise answer to that as I actually choose from 5 locations depending on the order....
What colors are involved, where it is shipping, when it is needed.
And I can also guarantee you that many of the other suppliers do likewise.
