Computer science rn, but subject to change. I’m loving it so far tho. Did you go to college?
Its allowed but frowned upon. We just had a member beg for money as he was dealing with an immigration situation and having a kid, then turn around and start buying and selling chips again. Fresh in our minds, but its never a good look.
It seems like you've joined, seen a bunch of expensive things and then immediately set up a GoFundMe so someone can hand them to you. As a computer science major you will hopefully make a good living some day, keep saving. When you say you've found poker and have been saving, its really tough for us to believe there was much time or hard work into saving for a poker set. Get a cheap set, learn to play well and put money aside for later. I don't mean this rudely, I'm giving you the reason why people are eye-rolling this post.
Yes, went to college and am completing a grad degree so I get the not-having-money feeling, promise. You're looking around and comparing your new found poker hosting to adults who have been doing it literally longer than you've been alive, and putting lots of their money and time into it. Comparison is the thief of joy, build it yourself and be proud of your dice chips and table cloth.
Work your campus's IT, enough undergrads download virusses and ruin their laptops, they need people to go over and explain not to click those links.
