Sorry for the radio silence, been busy with work and I was trying to get the edge spot designs figured out.
I like the suggestion, but that's not really the style I'm going for.
I'm pretty happy with where I'm at on the face and logo, so the main thing I was trying to work on was figuring out the edge spots. After some trial and error, I came up with few variations and I wanna see what you guys think. I'm probably gonna go with one of these as the final design cause I honestly really like these.
Option 1 I'm pretty partial to this one, but I do still really like the other ones.
Option 2
Option 3 I do like this one, but it feels kind of bland to me.
Finally, here are some 3D renderings to show how the edge spots would look printed on the chips.
Let me know what y'all think.

Option 2 gets my vote. I like the ring and spot color matching. It’s a nice way to tie the spots onto the face without needing to align the spots

Denoms too small.
You will have dirty Stack problems.
The Logo just doesn’t look good.
But that’s just my opinion. IMO - you should get a designer from the forums. @Colquhoun does brilliant work. @timinater @mattross1313 .. I don’t know all of you.

I've already explained my reason for the lower denoms ealier in the the thread, but beside that, it's not as if the 5s will ever be in play with the 5ks or anything, plus I just enjoy having a wide variety of denoms. I'm sorry but this point just seems a little nitpicky to me.
I also feel like I've pretty well mitigated the dirty stack issues with this most recent iteration, but I can make some test stacks on solidworks to show you if you really think it'll still be an issue.
As for the logo, I'm pretty happy with where it's at right now, but I'm not ordering the set tomorrow or anything, so I likely will have a better one made eventually, I just have to wait until other financial obligations are taken care of first. I do appreciate you tagging some people that may be able to help me with that.

Still not the style I'm looking for
I've actually been considering something along those lines, but I do like the "poker club" part at the bottom. though if I do end up doing something like that, I'll probably add those around the sides or something.

There is no law saying both sides have to be the same. Put the graphic as an oversize main element on one side, and an oversize denom on the other. Fill in blank spaces as necessary.

played around with the idea a bit, and if I do go with it, your idea would work best, so here's the example I came up with.
